Well, this comes a bit late.
I am still a bit surprised by the forced novelty ISO enter. I of course understand there cannot be lots of different ISO enters (and thanks for having one in base in the first place), but I assume people would have been better served with the normal enter key without the *insert English word for squiggly start-of-line music thing here*.
Anyhow, really great to see all the dedication that went into these sets in any case, so best of luck with the buy. Given the current keycaps-environment and the slight divisiveness of the SA profile, I really hope this makes it!

I'm not purchasing any SA kits until I can try the profile out (maybe NK meetup during this GB :eek:), but TBH regarding others comments about removing novelties, i personally like the choice to leave them in, but it might price some folks out. Jo does raise a good point on the forced ISO nov, but I wouldn't hate it if i was an ISO user.

Thank you for your kind words, Johannes! Regarding the forced novelties: It's really kind of a mixed bag for me, since when I ran GMK Maestro, several people have suggested the novelties should be included on the base kit, which makes Maestro a Maestro, the classical music set. Secondly, please read the last paragraph for the reply to touch regarding the separate novelties kit.
I really do hope this set makes it as well. (Also, my cousin's name IRL is also written the same as your nickname and he was born and lived in Köln until now. You're not him by any chance, aren't you? :))

Apparently not that many requests in the IC form.
The other major reason that I wasn't offering a separate novelties set is that some of the novelties image from GMK Maestro that didn't make it in this SA set actually isn't doable in double-shot form due to Signature Plastics' image restrictions, mainly the Flat, sharp, fortissimo symbols.
I hope you understand.

Nope, not me. ;) Johannes is quite a common name, especially nowadays with people in my age bracket (born 1985-95) in German-speaking regions - but even in Scandinavia, like Sweden, where I now live. I am sure there are hundreds of thousands of us around. :D
I completely get the motivation for including the novelties in base, I was just a bit surprised that ISO users have no choice but to use novelty ISO enter. But again, I get that this is a very small group of people and these big keys make a set more expensive for everyone, even if only 10% of buyers use them.

WV Color Changed to WCK
After comparing samples of plastic chips from SP and discussing with beamingrobot (designer of SA VoC), I have decided to go with WCK instead of WV because it's more creamer and closer to GMK Maestro's alphas.

Deskmat: I was supposed to receive a prototype of the deskmat(s) first before manufacturing commences. I will most definitely post the prototypes here :)

It's just that I've seen many deskmats and sometimes artisans seen pass already on MK way before the keycaps were produced that I thought I might have missed these 2.

I initially wanted the artisan to be R1 as well :-[. However, due to the R1 sculpt shape & slope that's very difficult/almost impossible to manufacture (while I wanted it to be true to the original SP SA R1 height and sculpted shape), I finally decided to offer the safer and more "evenly"-surfaced (they're not perfectly flat, per se, but they aren't sloped like other row profile) R3.
Probably next time (fingers crossed) I will think of another metal artisan for R1 SA profile. ^-^

It was scheduled on Q1 2023 but seeing other SP SA sets experienced severe delays, I would say ideally it will finish on Q2-Q3 2023. I will try to follow up to Vala (Lead vendor) and SP this week.

Which vendors already have the Monokei Artisan for SA Maestro?
To this day I haven't heard any one vendor already have the artisan shipped/ready. Let me confirm with Monokei asap
Monokei told me they shipped to vendors in October 2022.
