Anyone own a das keyboard? I am about to pull a trigger on a das keyboard 4 professional for about $150 and would like to hear your feedback/review on it. TY!

It is an overpriced piece of shiny plastic.

Heh. The company behind Das Keyboard is from Texas, USA.

Their keyboards used to be blank keys only and clicky only back when you wouldn't find mechanical keyboards at all. Nowadays, they are not any special compared to the competition, and you can get comparable keyboards for less.
Das Keyboard 3 was shiny ten years ago. Das Keyboard 4 is matte.

Because "Das Keyboard" is the German name for "the (musical instrument) keyboard". No, we don't have a word for a keyboard.
(The computer keyboard is "die Tastatur".)
