I think I'm going to pick up the replacement ear and headband pads from the HD439, I've got pretty oily skin, and will kill the leatherette pads pretty quick.

I have a pair of these here at work too.  For a budget headphone, they sound pretty decent and are light and comfortable.  I normally listen to the DT 880 Pros, but I have these floating around just in case.

Ouch!  Hope that didn't happen unexpectedly.

"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

The actual contents of that fine box picture is another one of my "super custom" sized wrist rest's from GH's resident wood master The_Beast.
This one is going to the work office, so its just plain old maple unlike the other one he made for me. Still the nicest rest's you can buy

HP Mini Note 9in netbook.
Needs a motherboard, but everything else is there including 2gb ram, an extra large battery, and bluetooth. It was $48 and a new board is on the way that contains a faster processor ($20).

What makes it special though is the fact that it has an Express Card port.
With a 500 gig drive and an Express Card Esata adapter, it's perfect for doing on-site drive backups (both of which I have).

This 'mystery pack' came in today from Tech Keys...
I received it within two days via USPS due to neighborly distance.
I just took the photo now, so it may be a little dark. I could take more detailed pictures tomorrow.

Anyway, the double shots have great texture on them. The difference is night and day compared to the regular, slippery ABS which came on my Leopold. The Caps Lock key is center stemmed and has a very low profile (cherry? strong unaware).

A big thanks to i3oilermaker for great products and service!

Makes me wonder why, if someone is going to print "Control" on the keycap instead of "Ctrl", why not print "Alternative" (or "Alternate" if you prefer US spelling) instead of just "Alt"?

It's very dark and rich
looks like more of a selection than the place I went to also slightly different colors, whats going to be the kicker is the price though.

I can only do potato pics right now, I can get good ones on Monday (maybe)

Here is what I got from their site:

$3 a plate for any color as long as there are 10 plates on a rack. If it's only a single plate on a rack then it's $30
Vendor Status: Sadly, not taking any orders/pre-orders at this time
