Important Updates 29-06-2020

GroupBuy Dates have been confirmed to be 1st July-31st July! We have also added DeskHero as a Canadian proxy for the set

Pricing for the set is as follows

Base Set - 134.99 USD
Alt Alphas - 83.99 USD
Extensions - 39.99 USD
Novelties - 42.99 USD
Deskmat - 16.99 USD

Collaborations for the set

Currently, we’re looking at custom cables, a clay sculpts, and a Rama keycap for the set.

Unfortunately, with the vendors wanting to start the GB, some miscommunication between Louis and myself about the GB date (apparently Early July meant July 1st and confirmation was not given to me before they announced), and with some supplies still not in from these makers, we’re still waiting on samples (with the exception of the Rama keycap of course, which I’ve been working with Rama to get a confirmation out ASAP). Nonetheless, the GB will not be delayed and we will sort everything out.

I’m working with another local artisan maker for the sculpts! Will be a fun little surprise.

Important updates 18-06-20

We have gotten confirmation from GMK regarding the price. Vendors are now working everything out!

Frankly, I’m not too sure how I got this idea. It just, sort of clicked one day and wouldn’t you know it, I came up with this beauty. GMK Bread features a relaxed brown colour way, which remains pretty rare in this community.

They're not there (you have them in R1+R2 and R2+R3, but not in R3+R4). (that said, I wouldn't use those keys in R3+R4, but some 65% users seem to like this)

I don't find the alpha colors very reminiscent of bread. In my 20-odd years of experience eating bread, white bread is usually a warmer, brighter and whiter color on the inside, whereas rye bread is darker than what you have going on in the alt alphas kit. This looks more like a GMK Latte Macchiato, if anything.

That being said, R3 PgUp, R4 PgDn would get me to like it slightly more.

As for ISO support, you have two options:
1. add the three R1 keys depletedvespene mentioned for full ISO-UK support; or
2. replace the R3 '@, #~ and R4 \| keys with R3 \| and R4 <> for basic, more generic ISO support.

OG please ^^ I think the improved 40s enters look a lot better though, happy you included them.

Brown is a hard colour to pull off but this came out really nicely, great job

Very much agree. This is like an evolution of GMK Café. This is not a bad thing but perhaps could give a different perspective on how to proceed. I do like the dark alphas though and the whole set looks tasty!

The Rukia alpha renders look alot darker than the renders for the alternate alphas kit, is there any way we can get a more accurate render? I personally prefer the colors of the alternate alphas kit render than the ones rendered on the Rukia.

Sure! I'll change the base to icons + text. Feedback from the IC form also mentioned to change the base kit to run icon+text

Also, I kind of agree with zekth, the croissants, as much as I love them, having one every day it feels, they don't seem to fit with the rest of the novelties. And, I guess they aren't bread. Maybe a dinner roll or biscuit would fit better. Waffles are bread, too, right? That might be cool. Idk, just throwing stuff out there.
