I think you guys might be taking EK's participation here the wrong way. Like any business would, they have been silent about the carrying the 660C until they actually have it. Non-disclosure about products not yet in distribution is typical for a retailer. And that's why Boost put together the GB. Nobody knew if or when EK would carry it. (And boost, I thank you for your efforts in this.)

EK didn't have to say they were carrying it, nor that they even tested it.  All they had to post was "The 660 looks interesting!" or something to that effect and people would have taking it as a sign that it was on their radar - at the same time as not breaking any non-disclosure agreements.

I can't speak for EK. But because of the timing of Brian's post, it may have been because of the rumor Boost brought up about EK carrying it. If the rumor hadn't been brought up, Brian may not have even posted.

But, the rumors about EK carrying it was brought up. And Brian confirmed the rumors. Then everybody gets pissed. Makes no sense...

Sorry. I'm out as well. Between the current EK shipment and the next one, the need for the GB is pretty well removed.

I also appreciate the effort in putting the GB together.

Dude this GB is $210 shipped, EK is $215 shipped if there are taxes. You're really whining about this cost difference when it comes to mechanical keyboards? And btw, when Boost tacks on the paypal fees, it'll end up costing more than $215...

I really wanted to give my money to boost. I don't really have a choice anymore but if I were to buy from EK I would rather it be cheaper than the price that boost was offering. To be honest, the $5 extra doesn't matter, I'm just upset I couldn't go with boost.

There is only tax in California since that's where EK is located. I just paid $215 shipped here in Cali also.

Thank you boost for organizing the GB to benefit the community, and I think you did the right thing cancelling it, given it became available for retail purchase in the US. Need to focus on unobtanium keyboards :-)
Maybe the μTron is a good candidate for a next GB ???

Hey boost,

Thanks for putting together this group buy, but with the availability on EK being cheaper, with a warranty and no fear of customs taxes, I just went that route.

I really appreciate that you put time and effort into this, but it just doesn't make sense for me to go the GB route at this point.  Thank you again.

I'm going to go the EK route as well. Thank you for your efforts, but it seems the whole point of a GB is moot if one can just get the same thing from EK for less.

MOAR BOOST MOAR KEYBOARDS

FYI... It looks like boost has officially canceled this GB.  This situation doesn't happen very often.  At least the timing wasn't as bad as it could have been, even though I'm sure boost has already put in quite a bit of work planning and organizing the GB.

My hat is off to you, boost, for handling an unfortunate situation well.  There will be more GBs to come.

In case you didn't see the last page, Boost already said this whole GB is canceled. So if you want one, you HAVE to get it from EK. They have fewer 660C's than people on this list, so now it's comes down to whoever is quicker.

Their stock was 45 when it launched about a day ago, down to 15 at the time of this post.

Well, if you are not in states, I can proxy 660C Since I will still be in seoul for about one month.

It is also possible to me sell one at about 200 with shipping, just I do not make any for that, so 219 is a good price...

Thanks for the effort you put in boost, I image there was a lot of set up in order to get the group buy off the ground, sorry to see it was for naught.

As the individuals above said, the μTron does look like an interesting board as well, I will have to look into it more.
