I'm going to give thoughts on both polycarbonate and brass when I get them built up. I'm also taking them to the UK meetup (on the 26th of May) and will get others to leave thoughts too.

Keep in mind that the sound also heavily depends on the case itself. As long as you don't have to comparable builds in the same case with both plate variants you can hardly say which one sounds better.

Colors sample?

I think most colors will be ran with a private buy I'm doing, but it doesn't really matter anyway.

The Pantones are a guideline, simply because all of these are variables: your eyesight; your monitor color accuracy; my eyesight; my camera; my monitor color accuracy; my choice from what I see; the factory and their color accuracy (which will change throughout the monitors they use); their choice on what they think they can do; and finally, anodizing variables (which include between batches, and a whole lot more).

Basically, it's a waste of time. What you see if pretty much what you'll get.

The custom colors in 268 AG turned out really well when I'm comparing the color directly to my monitor. Now remember all the variables. I am very happy with how they turned out anyway, and I have no doubts this'll be any different.

Looking forward to seeing the samples on this one as well!
