Title: In search of TE inventor Alfredo Buhler...
Post by: appie747 on Tue, 12 April 2011, 14:57:32
I found the TE inventor Mr. Buhler through patent sites. Browsing through those, you see a lot of patents about erogomic keyboards, very interesting!
How about this one:

Each key can be adjusted, wow!

It looks like that address:

303 - 2330 Maple Street
Vancouver
V6J 3T6
British Columbia

is correct, unlike the domain registrar address.
There are actually places for rent in that building.

No, I think he moved to a new location,
Suite 318 - 1929 West 3rd Avenue Vancouver, B.C. V6J 1L3 Canada
from a later patent of 2008.

Well, there is hardly anything creepy about wanting to know the address of a company that you are doing business with. It is a lot creepier that the company is paying for a service that allows them to hide that information from their customers.

So have you guys pretty much decided this is just a scam and are out to get him now?

Actually, seeing that he owns some patents, and trademarked the name leads me to believe that he is honestly trying to launch a company, and just has some really opaque and ill advised business practices. I honestly hope he pulls it off, but I really wish that he was doing a better job of managing his customer relations, and was a bit more transparent. You would have a hard time looking MORE like a scam.

I really like the style of the keyboard...I'd like one in blue. I'll wait for them to be produced before I dive in and get one :p
