Hi Bruce,

do you know if Diatec will announce a Filco Majestouch NINJA with MX Reds (kinda Limited R edition but with front legends on keycaps) in the near future?

Also wounder if you'll get some white Majestouch 2 Limited R for europe?

Hi Lukasz

I still don't know when Red Switches will be more generally available. I don't really know why they are not now but I did hear that there was some contractual issue. When they are we will include them with as much stuff as possible.
What I hear is the situation is set to improve but as far as firm info is concerned it is all very vague and I really don't know when we will be able to use Reds in the same way we do Browns, Blacks and Blues.

If anyone knows anything i'd be interested to hear.

I'm not sure where we got it from, I'm not sure I can claim originality on it either. If it didn't come from here then we probably did make it up. We've used it since shortly after beginning with Filco and that was when we first came accross Tenkeyless.
There is a strange kind of home spun shorthand developing on our internal emails.
TKC - we never used although some people use that for us. KBC was always how we described ourselves, I think that one even pre-dates my time here.

Even though I paid way too much for it by getting it directly from TheKeyboardCo instead of waiting for it to be in stock on Amazon I'm super happy I did. While my brown Filco is the keyboard that I'd save if anything went wrong my Linear R is my favorite overall board. It just feels special for some reason. :)

Information from china: All Red switches keyboard are pending, PLU, Noppoo, Filco......Some KBC Poker Red arrived.. Also, no Filco Red switches would restock in this years, at least in China.

News from Japan: Might still have some in stock, but price is hight.

We used TKL since shortly after we started with Filco I think. But that would not preclude us having picked it up from webwit.

I find it easier to name this kind of keyboards by the number of keys they have like the Realforce 88 or Realforce 23UB you have in stock.

I could see that being a limited batch. Reds are not that popular and so it was small. But if they see there is high demand, as it was because it sold out quickly, I think they may make another stock. There would be money there for Diatec, no?

I was too busy building my PC and looking up what Cherry switches were when Amazon last had them in-stock. They did have the full-size but I didn't know what I wanted and I'm glad I didn't because I now want a Tenkeyless. :noidea:

If anyone finds that they come in-stock, please let me know with a Private Message. No rush, I don't care if it takes a year, I just want to try them. :becky:

Well, I sold all I had, the man I said have 90 TLK also sold out....TaiWan might have some in there. But, might be next year will be new version of red switches filco come out.
