Alaska should get the go ahead.  There are hardly any 100% custom boards.

The only ones I know of are Kaliet, GON (doesn't really count), Matrix10 - only 20 made :(, Winkeyless (Acrylic only).  I think that is it.

Would be great to cut a little opening on the plate to support switch top removal. I now regret having installed Gateron Browns on my Revo Dr.D but struggle to find a time to desolder 80 of them.

Well,it's not hard to support it but we don't like it. Our boards used to be switch top removable but now there's none of them support that. It's just not that good.Have a lot of problems.I guess you have to find time to desolder your Dr.D...Sad...Still the plate is good enough for now. Not likely to make any change.

I prefer a much more subtle "Revo" logo, than the flashy one in that image. The makers mark should definitely be on there, but cyan and screaming can be a tad bit much =p

Shouldn't wobble if done correctly. To wobble the switch itself would actually be having to wobble/bend

There's not really a downside to switch top removable or problems I can think of, I won't purchase a board unless the plate allows for switch top opening. My TX-CP and TX1800 all support switch top opening and no problems what so ever.

Ours will make the switch askew and it won't open easily and it's too hard to put it back inside. Or maybe we couldn't make it right so right now all our design don't support switch top removable. ;D ;D ; Btw, alu plate is soft it could be bend a little if pushed too hard. Not ideal for switch top remove, maybe ss can be better.

If I would have one small suggestion for team Revo though, is it possible to move the branding to a discrete place like on the bottom of the board or on one of the sides (or or perhaps inside, engraved onto the weight or something? I completely understand the desire to have your brand recognition and putting your work out there for people to see, but I know that for the most part I would prefer my keyboards to look very clean and minimal, and branding usually gets in the way and distracts from the clean lines of the product.

Let me know what you think  ;)

the problem is i have to put the logo somewhere. it's not good to put it on the weight and i really can't think of anywhere great. What i want is change it to inlaid logo so if you really dont want it to stand out you can chose the same color for it.

Dig this news. I love the look of my Dr. D with gray D inlay logo against the gray case. It's really quite understated and classy.

a little update here.

After talking to CNC shop, A inlaid logo for Samoyed is impossible. So we think we will remove the logo.

And i have found some prototype here. Sorry for the pictures, they are taken by my phone.

Got a sample from Raymond today! What a beast. The new glossy finish is smooth and vibrant. Typing also sounds substantial as you would expect from a thick high profile case. Now looking for a palm rest for the first time...
