Howdy howdy.

You may know me over on reddit as GeeWhizWithout. Well, he's dead. Sort of. Apparantly reddit doesn't like people using a VPN to protect their anonymity online while sending lots of PMs to different users at the same time...even though, you know, if they bothered to check they could see none of it was spam. But I digress.

Figured it was about time to make the leap here. I'm an old man, tough for me to learn new things. Just figuring out Discord also. Who has time for all this?!

Anyhow, since GeeWhizWithout is probably FUBAR, just call me Josh (from spacecat.design). That works for me.

Wanted to officially say hello. So....

Just an FYI VPN's sometimes cause accidental soft bans here but usually clearing browser cache fixes it.

Ha, ok. It's hard for me to consider anyone born in the '80s old, but I understand the feeling. I'm 29 and have been dreading 30 since about 26.

The first time I felt old was age 25 when I saw some teens sitting around in an arcade on a cruise ship and realized I couldn't just approach them and talk because I was an adult to them and not just another kid.

I think that's the way most of us feel.  After 30 it's just something you look forward to because you can get away with being lazy (with family anyway).  I haven't really celebrated my birthday in several years, even going so far as telling my wife not to get me anything.  She has the boys make me stuff, which I appreciate more than most gifts.

You know you're getting old at the moment you realize you look FORWARD to getting socks/clothes/etc for Christmas.
