Creating a keyset with Varmilo PBT dye sub keycaps?
« on: Sat, 04 November 2017, 09:03:55 »
Anyone ever thought of creating a custom keyset with Varmilos keycaps?

First I like their caps a lot. High quaility thick PBT with a nice feel, nice texture, nice sound and nice legends, prefer them over GMK anyday. Saw on Tom's hardware that they have new colors. That turquise is so tempting. So why not creating a custom keyset.

+high quality pbt
+affordable
+probably easier to produce compared to double shots
+probably not so much issues with moq
+possibility of creating special caps (look at their space keys)
-limitations of dye sub (dark legends on lighter caps)

So if anyone comes up with a nice set (especially that turquise) count me in.

I agree!
though anyone has any informations about their keys support? I mean do they have keys to support HHKB-layout, Winkeyless, 1800,...

their Summer Trilogy sets are very nice but those sets only support standard ANSI layout, so I was holding back from buying them.

and +1 to turquoise!  ;D
