The aluminum version has convex engravings. The engravings cannot be removed.

The brass version has laser engravings. You can choose to remove the engravings if leave a message in the form.

i really dig the design in terms of the main section being different from the Bezel/base piece and the layout looks great (ISO bby!!) But I just wouldn't be able to use it on such a low angle.

Is the RGB-light strip programmable?
When choosing the WKL option a 7u spacebar is required, isn't it?

Yes, the top right rgb strip is programmable.

both WKL and HHKB layout require 7u spacebar.

This board is 16mm tall in front and 22mm back. That's pretty low in customs. You can use it without a wrist rest as the first pic shows. A lower angle is better for a low keyboard imo.

16mm is perfect for me. 22mm in the back is quite too low as I prefer a higher angle as typing. Perhaps a 7degree would be fine for me

I really like the black top / white bottom (What I ordered), but idk, I THINK My TKL is MAO, but the finish bruises like an over-ripe banana.
Maybe I'll just have to be careful with it.

MAO is as durable as anodizing but softer. Both finishes are oxidation resistant, not scratch resistant.

Maybe my TKL isn't MAO, I still really don't know.
Most of my other boards are standard anodizing, and they resist buffs and scratches WAY better than the board I'm thinking of.

I'll just keep my order the way it is and see what it's like when it gets here
And hey, anything's a good excuse for another fancy keyboard sleeve, right?

Also, on the conversation about height and angle:
I definitely support the direction of more "low profile" boards ;)

I sent him a message on Reddit asking for an update and the response I got was to check Geekhack. He hasn't posted anything since October 19th. If you're this quiet when running a GB it's a big problem. Definitely keeping Paypal chargeback as an option if he doesn't respond soon.

I'm really sorry that I seldom log in gh these days due to personal reasons, and I haven't updated the progress in time. Cross has been fully assembled and will collect the postage from you within a few days and then deliver the goods. The following are some pictures of the real objects

Hello, I have ran into some issues with my PCB, two columns are swapped and the spacebar doesn't work. Would it be possible to get a premade .hex file so I can re-flash it? I can't seem to find the CROSS in the list of boards. Or would I have to make one custom? I'm not very experienced with QMK.
