I've been having an issue with my Chicony holding down arrow keys at random. It wasn't often enough to render it unusable. So, I tried swapping adapters, but no luck. So, I just dealt with it. However, recently, I noticed the CTRL key was randomly actuating and doing it often enough that I couldn't really use the keyboard. I sprayed some compressed air into the switch to no avail. I opened up the board and toyed with the 4-pin power connector. I noticed even when I UNPLUGGED IT, the CTRL key would still randomly fire. Hence, I figured it was the cable. However, on a whim, I unscrewed the grounding wire and plugged the cable back in. Voila. No more random actuating keys. Hence, this post.
Can anyone think of a reason why the grounding wire would cause this?
