But GMK is located in Germany? How would Coronavirus have any effect on this GB? It hasn't effect any other GMK GBs.

well, gmk has to match 6 custom colors, plus this is with tax.

250 is not the limit. It's the minimum order quantity that is required to get this set into production.
Overall units is unlimited and with how popular this is it's probably going to go up to 1000 base kits.

Just realized not a single row 4  1.25u mod in the Assembly kit. Welp, I appreciate the attempt to support Minivan but literally no compatibility for anything else in the staggered 40s realm because of this omission. I wish I would have checked sooner.  I have been waiting for this set for so long but now I don't think I can justify buying at a $200 price tag for novelties plus assembly.

This is an Interest Check. This means that the creator is still gathering community input on the set and making arrangements to produce it.

Once all that is done, a new thread will be created for the actual Group Buy. There you will find links to vendors selling the set (usually with several kits and bonus stuff). Usually there's one vendor for every major region of the world, so you don't have to pay extra for shipping and tolls. The group buy usually runs for a month or so. That's your window to order the kits and bonus stuff that you're interested in. You need to pay for all the stuff up front. Once the group buy is closed, all the kits that met MOQ (minimum order quantity) will be sent to production. Production of GMK sets usually takes 5 months at minimum. It will take longer if the set is very popular (bigger production run) or if the GMK facilities are busy with other orders. After all the sets are produced, the vendors will ship them out to group buy members.

In essence, if you really want this set you need to wait for the Group Buy to launch and then wait for months until they're produced.

This is great. I have been a long time Nord themes user and I read a thread of Nord on keycaps.
At that time, I was not a keyboard enthusiast. Now, I cannot wait to buy one.
Thus, all my dev setups are Nord, including: VSCode, iTerms, Tmux, neovim, Alfred and keycaps!

Yeah, that's too bad, but in case someone is reading this without context, there is homing in the base. It's just the VIM "J" in the novelty kit that doesn't have homing. Although, OP could take out the non-homing J and replace it with a homing one. GMK probably charges the same price so no requote is needed. All OP and vendor have to do is tell GMK that one key is being replaced for another.

With gmk, any set that uses non gmk colors has an moq of 250. At 500 and 1000 units, prices decrease. An "artificial" moq of 500 or 1000 can be set by the runner to "reduce cost"

Hi OP, I hope it's not too late for this, but you might want to consider moving R1 End and PgDn to the numpad kit. These keys are only useful if there is a numpad present, e.g. on 1800, CP and 96-key layout boards, so they shouldn't be included in numpadless base kits.
