I forgot that I had the package sent home. So I ask, apparently it's "blaze orange" so I can only assume that it's a gamer kit. R3 would have been better but I already have a similar R4 set on order

I bought a prototype pack. Not sure if there were multiple for sale. Unfortunately the space bars are spoken for. One for me, one for RL friend.

Do I attempt to bend it back by hand or what? I assume just pressing it flat on a table won't work, and that it would need to extend past flat into an "opposite" bend in order to correctly be straightened?

Yes, bend it by hand until flat, checking for straightness with a table. Apply heat, then pressure where it is warped, and alternate, until flat. Pretty much every PBT spacebar I've ever received has been warped to some extent or other.

sorry, i totally missed this. unfortunately large PBT parts tend to come out with some warpage, and the KBC spaces are notorious for it. someone has a great guide on bending them straight by hand, but what jdcarpe said is dead on. basically, gently heat the plastic (use heated water) until it's just a little compliant, and then put pressure on it on a flat surface. hopefully someone can link the guide? as usual, it should be in the wiki, but it's not yet
