Took apart a broken espresso machine, put said espresso machine back together and it worked. Not entirely sure what I did to trigger that response...

what did i do? consumed some fuel...

...and built some olympic mascots:

(...)Whereas back then I wrote about the tyranny of the majority, today I'd combine that with the tyranny of the minorities. These days, you have to be careful of both. They both want to control you. The first group, by making you do the same thing over and over again. The second group is indicated by the letters I get from the Vassar girls who want me to put more women's lib in The Martian Chronicles, or from blacks who want more black people in Dandelion Wine.
I say to both bunches, Whether you're a majority or minority, bug off! To hell with anybody who wants to tell me what to write. Finished building my LightSaver keyboard!  Pretty much took most of the day.  Everything's working perfectly, and it feels great.  Very happy, especially since it took so long to finally get it into the configuration I like.  Must leave photographs for another day.

Spent a few hours working out the bugs in a Vaadin project and then I spent the rest of the day catching up on my Android programming course. Coursera is brilliant, I'm usually terrible at structured learning so I really like their approach.

Today I took my F122 to the job. No floss mod.

I am taking bets on how long it will be tolerated lol! We are 16 in one room quite wide open. Right now most are not here, but soon they should be back!

I am almost hesitating to type since it's so loud haha! But in truth it's a symphony!

They aren't all mine, they have to be distributed to all the people who purchased them :D

Currently working on eating a box of samoas, we have over 200 boxes of girl scout cookies I couldn't resist.

Lucky! My fiancé went to the Girl Scouts Oregon HQ and they didn't have any cookies at the office... so disappointed

My daughters in girl scouts, she sold quite bit, guess I should have posted in the classifieds haha :D

The caramel delights are where it's at

Not sure if you knew, but those are called Samoas in some regions.  Though they actually have slightly altered recipes, so they do taste different.

For anyone curious, there are two different bakeries that make GS cookies, and I've noticed that some flavours that are supposed to be the same (like Thin Mints) will actually taste different depending on which bakery they came from.

I've heard about these "Girl Scouts Cookies" and come to the conclusion that I really want some :( Damn Americans hogging them all!
unless they have some unforeseeable downside (like they're actually made of cream cheese cunningly disguised as ABS)

^^ I did not know this!! Thanks for the info. I know depending on which region/troup etc they have slightly different product lists as well.

I can already see I'm going to have to ship some of these abroad. I better make sure there is no embargo first.

Their society breaks down into subsections of minorities who then, in effect, burn books by banning them. All this political correctness that's rampant on campuses is b.s.
