Title: BBv2 Ebay Listing
Post by: Pdub on Tue, 15 March 2016, 13:22:54
With a sorrow heart I have to list my Grove Green V2 and FN set.

Hitting some hard times at home and I need some funds to stay afloat.

Forgive my RNG God.

I give you permission to bid on that and we can work it out. I just don't want people from South Africa trolling my post.

I lol'd at the "like Click Clack" part of the title.

I lol'd at the "like Click Clack" part of the title.

It gets more searches than the BBV2 title alone. lel

*The below is my personal opinion and not written on behalf of the mod team*

If you've really hit hard times I suggest you stop lurking in the Clackvent thread?  If you're a capitalist and fine with absurd aftermarket prices say so, but playing the sympathy card while your actions contradict your words just makes you look dodgy.

I have not posted in Clack Vent SINCE I posted this ...

Everyone is a critic.

I think it's because there's a long history of people using sob stories to get more money out of auctions.  It makes Powell people very wary.

I can understand that. Thanks for the input!

Idk you posted in CV the day before you posted this, and of course things can come up over the same day, but from experience it's usually something else that make people ebay caps.

This is why people should just sell and not give anybody a damn reason or excuse to sell. Just put it up for sale and be quiet. You owe nobody an explanation.

you don't need to wait five days if you really need the money, just hit reddit with a $250 obo post and be done with it (save some on fees that way too). and you'd get the added bonus of controlling who you buyer is to better ensure you don't get banked.

just be sure to notify synjin's name (u/tourneycollector) for maximum dollars though.

This. I've learned, for better or for worse, that it's best not to put personal reasons. Heck, most of the time people don't care.

Does synjin really pay obscene heaps of cash for itty-bitty pieces of plastic?

It's more the community looks down on the profiting of artisan caps (part anyway... we all know that place where it's the norm)

I would easily pay $100 for this set but a. it expires too soon and b.  I don't agree with auctioning if you need it so quickly, just sell it.
