I've posted here before and I have a new design and I want to see what people think of it.
The new version has all THT components (like the discipline and other keyboards by cftkb)
New Layout
The main drivers for this design are:
- Ortholinearity (no columnar stagger to make it easier to use standard game controls) and thumb keys for ergonomics
- Keeping compatibility with standard keysets (no short shift or anything here you can use any stabilised keys for the thumb keys up to 2.75u)
- Minimising manufacturing costs by going with THT components
The initial design uses a plate and a acrylic base and supports tray mount and bottom mounted on the plate.
