Hey everyone I’m fairly new to the scene and was introduced to the idea of building my own keyboard by a coworker during a shift where I mentioned I wanted a new keyboard, my words, “I want one of those little guys that doesn’t have all the buttons.” I now have learned that the little guy I was referring to was a 60%. We chatted about builds and what his first build was I took his advice and decided to build my own keyboard. Within the next month or so I ended up with my first build which is a RK61 with tangerine switches and some nice enough key caps I found on Amazon I’m trying to replace soon. That being said I have an itch now and I’m already starting a second build for myself and third for a friend that’s interested but doesn’t have the time himself to build. I’m looking forward to asking more questions, getting into group buys, and being apart of the community and wanted to say thanks in advance for having me here.
