Hey popkorn do you know when Kin plans to send you restocks of the springs? I've got a few builds I'd love to use them with.

As promised, some springs are back in stock except 55g  :thumb:

Haha and 55g was what I wanted most! Went ahead and ordered some 60g and 70g, thanks a bunch!

In another 2-3 weeks I’ll have more

Check out Victoninox multi-tool oil or a Krytox GPL 10X-series oil, won't really be any difference. Might even be better, the included oil I found to be extremely thin. Victorinox especially is super inexpensive.

Any more information on the new Suo PCBs?  What are these “inconsistencies” in Leeku PCBs that Suo PCBs improve upon?

I could have sworn there were some firmware issues with the newer Leeku PCBs.  I put in an order for a new Suo tkl pcb (i meant to order the Suo 75% pcb, but I checked out faster than the website's button lag). Regardless if kin does or doesn't get my messages about swapping the tkl for the 75%, I'll build up whatever is sent and test it out with some 2x3x4 LEDs.

Leeku's PCB has very high failure rate as well as firmware issue. You don't even know how many tickets I received about faulty Leeku PCBs... I guess it is dishonest to say suo has improved upon Leeku one tho since suo is completely different.

which order is yours? I can tell kin to change it.

Thanks, I was just quoting the promotional e-mail.  Unfortunately there is no description of the PCBs either in the promotional e-mail or on the website selling the PCBs.

Silver and gray.  TX gray is best gray.  Not sure if this sale will include white.  If so, it'll be tempting.

100 of each.  I feel like times are changing.  Hope that you'll be pleasantly surprised with the sales.  Something tells me the majority of spots will be taken in a day.

We’re definitely trying to be safe. Production isn’t finished it only started ahead of GB. Thus, it is possible to go over 100.

No that will definitely be an actual GB and will open in multiple regions via proxies: Canada, US, EU, Australia and the rest.

How is the antique (copper/brass) finish holding up over time?  Those are just coated aluminum, right?  Does it patina the same way as normal brass and copper would or shouldn't?

It doesn’t patina.  It has what looks to me to be a semi-gloss clear coat on top of the antiqued finish

any chance that we can pick up an extra plate for TX-66 or 60/65v2?  I think I want FR4 to try something different, but I'd like to buy an extra brass plate in case.

So, I'm having issues with my tx-cp v2. I can't get changes I made in Suo to persist after rebooting or power loss. It works great right until the board looses power. Also, only v2.2 of the program will launch on my computer. It's really frustrating. Am I missing a step in programming? Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

Edit: I don't know why, but my settings are sticking now. Weird.

Hi, My TX1800 PCB seems to be bricked on its own.
I'm checking this guide to fix it up. https://kbdlab.co.kr/index.php?document_srl=3437863&mid=board_tune
Just wondering if I should use the same command "avrdude -c usbasp -p atmega32 -U hfuse:w:0xDF:m -U lfuse:w:0x0E:m"? Or do I have to change "0xDF" and "0x0E" thats specific to my board? Thanks

Hi there, did you manage to fix the bricked PCB? I have a Leeku-CP, and a few days ago it suddenly went bricked and unrecognized by all of my pc or laptop.
The guide in kbdlab.co.kr is in Korean, and I don't understand.
Please, if you manage to fix your PCB, maybe can share how to fix it.

Thanks.

If anyone here is owning a SUO 87L V.1 PCB (bought with a TX87) I would need a little help configuring it for ISO.

Thanks !

Found out from Instagram that the boards are pretty much done.  However, the side weight was made wrong on one side.  The engraving said XT instead of TX because it was incorrectly mirrored from the other side.  Once those get redone it should be ready to ship.

Just got my grey TX60 HHKB layout today.  Well worth the wait; will probably be building it tonight.  Does anyone know if SUO PCB is supported by VIA?

TX also included a mini desk mat for it which was a nice touch, as I don't think that was advertised in the GB.

No, as far as I know the SUO is not supported by VIA.  I checked and it's not on the list https://caniusevia.com/docs/supported_keyboards

No direct notification from TX other than an address update request a few weeks ago I think. I’m signed up for FedEx managed deliveries so anytime something is sent to me via FedEx it lets me know, which it did earlier this week. Hope this helps.
