I thought chimichangas are baked..
didn't know they were fried.
Yessir they just toss a burrito in the fryer, the good ones (imo) the tortilla comes out crispy if you get a soggy one thats the worst.
Chicken is the only real answer here

Shrimp balls with Mayo

Depending on who makes it.. the structure could vary.
But usually, it's lightly diced shrimp, gelled together with a substrate..
Then battered/powdered and deep fried.

I'm guessing "fried" is American for "deep fried", right?
If pan fried, steak.

Not exactly, but in casual usage saying "fried + whatever" implies a battered and fried whatever, especially in a casual or fast food context.
A pan fried steak would be called a "pan fried steak" but a pan fried egg would simply be a "fried egg", and a pan fried pancake would be a "pancake".
Chimichanga all day
Where I live we can ban fry in butter, oil are deep fry... personally I prefer pan fried as Deep fried is tasty but... its a bit saturated unless its down properly. There also Fried Turkey when done right its food of the heavens.
I think they purposely grill in hydrogenated animal fats to make it as bad as possible actually xD .Where I live we can ban fry in butter, oil are deep fry... personally I prefer pan fried as Deep fried is tasty but... its a bit saturated unless its down properly. I saw on utube, the heart attack grill, they still fry in Lard..

animal fat comes hydrogenated ?
Most animal fat IS already saturated, but some isn't. Because unsaturated fats are more prone to oxidation, they're reduced to increase their lifetime. Most fat sources are at least partially hydrogenated to prevent them from spoiling too quickly. They hydrogenate so many different fats, man xD .I think they purposely grill in hydrogenated animal fats to make it as bad as possible actually xD .Where I live we can ban fry in butter, oil are deep fry... personally I prefer pan fried as Deep fried is tasty but... its a bit saturated unless its down properly. I thought the only purpose to hydrogenation was that it suspends better in packaged foods.
I didn't know they'd hydrogenate lards / butter for cooking.

Chicken fried steak is generally superior to fried chicken at restaurants. However, when considering my mom's recipes for both, I might give the edge to chicken. What the hell is "chicken fried steak"?! Oo
In terms of vegetarian foods, chile relleno is pretty good. It has cheese in it, so it's not vegan (sorry, TP4). Oh, actually, my mom's fried eggplant is freaking amazing; it tastes almost as good as the chicken, especially when gravy is applied.

Cheap, tenderized steak fried in the same manner as one fries a chicken :D
It is a funny name that has caused the even funnier name of "chicken fried chicken" (the exact same thing as "fried chicken") to exist to differentiate between the two.
It's basically a Wienerschnitzel that has gravy on it.

If there is something that makes me frustrated, it is when people don't adhere to proper terminology.
In this context, it is milk gravy. I've never made it myself, but my understanding it that it's basically cow milk and flour (and usually black pepper too) mixed together and cooked on a skillet. So, in other words, what the rest of the world calls "béchamel sauce".

I had fried green tomatoes the other day that were fantastic. My favorite fried food would probably be my Grandmother's Fried chicken though, closely followed by onion rings, I think.
I try to stay away from fried foods for the most part though:P
Has anyone tried a fried snickers or oreo, though?

Fried snickers/ oreo are alrite when hot.. they get horrible when cold.
Are there any fried foods that are best/good when cold? I guess Fried Chicken is always good...

Refried beans aren't usually fried, so I don't think they count. But them not being fried means that they are much healthier so it's okay to eat more :)

I tried it and it was like eating a thick shoe that tasted gamey. This is the only time I've taken a single bite of fast food and threw it away. Some folks on Youtube were able to get it down with additional sauce and curly fries on top but I just couldn't.
Best quote I heard: "Once a year? How about no times a year!"
On the other hand the Arby's fried cajun turkey sandwich was very good and would have it again.
The Cookie Butter shake ... I loved it but my buddy didn't. They thought it tasted synthetic but I had a more romantic notion of the flavor:
Ever been to one of those small towns with lots of character during Christmas time, and in that town there is a craft store with scented candles. Candles that smell delicious and you wish you could eat it? That's what the Arby's Cookie Butter shake tastes like to me - a delicious scented candle that I always wanted to consume.

Hrrrrm.. but maybe that particular location overcooked that patty that day..
Since they don't have as much xperience with the new burgers vs their normal ones.

It's not a burger though - it's a thick filet with a very weird cut.
It might work better if it was ground up and made into patties - and with much needed extra fat - but even though Arby's might sell a Martha Stewart salad I doubt they will get into burgers.

Thanks for confirming on the venison sandwich, I just don't see how it could be done well on that scale as venison is harder to cook properly than beef and fast food employees (probably rightfully so) don't give enough of a **** to do it right.
Cookie butter shake sounds like the stuff of nightmares! Those candle stores overwhelm my senses almost immediately, so thanks for the warning on that one.are there deer breeder/farmers?

There are deer farms, and apparently New Zealand is the world leader! Makes more sense that the meat for the Arby's sandwich would come from there then, but I'm still surprised that it's not local, due to the sheer amount of deer in the US.
