Okay folks. Since it has come to my attention that many may have missed out on the relegendables for Nuclear Data from PMK, I am planning a new GB here on GH. For those who would like other color options like the Vault 13 Blue, Rad Hard Yellow Cake, and Rad Hard Rusky Red, I am putting these other colors on the table as options as well. Let me know your color preference and size for the SA Row relegendable of your dreams.

I am also considering doing Glow-In-The-Dark relegendables just for the novelty of it to those who may be interested.

I would love to see some SA Row 3 relegendable caps in the 3 colors from Penumbra. I would definitely be in for 1x, and possibly 2x, depending on the price.

I'm not sure if this steps on Bunny's toes or not, though.

Relegendability aside, what is the interest in plain old blank SA GiD keycaps?

Would they be green GiD, or blue GiD? Or some other colour GiD?

I think the only glow plastic in SP's swatches is in the yellow category.

The goal is to get them down to 1 dollar each standard color. Glow in the dark with naturally be more by maybe another 50 cents. Orange will definitely be in the mix.

Part of me wants to do this one on PMK, but the other part of me wants to head this one up myself...the problem is to do all the different colors in separate IC's on PMK would cause them to stall out and create confusion...

I'm not sure I agree. If you do it on PMK, the ones that do not tip will not happen...so the buyers decide. Just set a high initial tipping point and then the initial price will be reasonable enough to get people to commit without worrying about being stuck will expensive caps.

AFAIK, SP don't make 1.5x relegendables, but they do make 2x size

I am currently considering getting involved with this GB.

I don't need any of the keycaps, so they are merely 'nice to haves' that I could use.

As I have managed to sell a number of things recently I am able to budget maybe $120 for keycaps alone.

Because SP/PMK doesn't offer the same functions as Massdrop, I'm not going to just commit like that especially because I don't need any keycaps. But I will be watching from the sidelines. If I can I will help by purchasing a large number of keycaps so that everyone gets them cheaper. I will target MOQ points, so I'll wait until the last day to make my move.

Am putting out my ideas here in hopes of inspiring some people/ vendors to do the same. If you are considering buying 100 or some big number, speak up! It might help more people buy, tip the MOQ into something really cheap, thereby bringing about a win win solution for everyone.

OK, now that I have seen the figures, the price tiers and the response to date, I have decided that unless some other big buyer identifies himself, I will support the Green and the Glow in the Dark.

I will not commit to buying now. I'll budget up to $120 and allocate money where I think it makes the most and the best difference.

If anyone asked me how many I actually need, the number is 'zero'. I am not attached to these keycaps and don't desperately need anything. I can personally use 36 so will probably buy 40 by default, unless I see that by buying more I can help us hit s better price tier.

I got a quote regarding 500 count and beyond:

$1 each for any standard ABS colors
$1.10 each for Glow-In-The-Darks

Noticing that the green relegendables were coming along slowly and the glow in the darks were nearly at 150, I just bought 110 greens and 2 GIDs. That means now both types are now tipped at 150, bringing prices down enormously for everyone else.

Buying so many things I don’t need also means that I will eventually be able to offer them to late comers in line with my Buyer and Seller of Last Resort concept. Expect a price around $2-2.50 each though because I will incur substantial shipping costs and intend to cover them. Not to mention a substantial delay in shipping to my country. So for those sitting on their hands now, I recommend buying now at the newly reduced prices.

I will monitor the situation on the last day. If only a small purchase is needed to tip into the 250 mark, I will make a second purchase.

Just literally blew my pp account making this BSLR purchase. Strangely they don't adjust the price even after you've gone up 3 price tiers, so I have $565 locked up now until after GB ends. SP had better adjust the final amount they take from me. In the meantime I have no money to spend on anything which should be a blessing in disguise.
