Title: One Button Mute and Volume Control USB Device
Post by: Aelon on Sat, 02 March 2019, 10:51:18
Anyone using these kinds of external USB devices to adjust volume ?

I am thinking about buying one.
Recently, I switched to a simpler keyboard. My previous keyboard had volume scroll wheel and volume mute button. I got so used to it I can't live without them anymore :)

If you have experience with those kinds of devices please share.

(Sorry for this device's amazon link by the way. I couldn't find its official web page)

I've been considering Keeb.io's BD9N (https://keeb.io/collections/frontpage/products/bdn9-3x3-9-key-macropad-rotary-encoder-support?variant=15959960944734),which is about the same price, but more programmable buttons.

I don't have one, but was probably going to make one soon. If you're even slightly familiar with DIY boards or arduino, it would also be easy to make one.  That being said, the finish looks pretty nice on the one you linked.

I simply use the one located on my keyboard.

You see? Right here:
