Case corners increased fro 3mm to 5mm
Base corner fillets changed to match the top corner fillets
Top mount positions overhauled
PCB mount style overhauled

FAQ/Other notes:

This board will NOT be made at the same factory as the Southpaw boards. This will be made at a factory that I have personally used and I will have full communication with the rep that will be handling this project. I will be providing all updates.
The dual mounting options will not interfere with each other no matter which option you choose to use.

March 1st, 2020 - GB closed, preparing for production
April 8th - PCB production paid for (Case production started a couple weeks ago at this point but there wont be a significant update on that front for at least another month or 2)
May 15th - PCB production complete. Case production is still a bit behind schedule due to manu backlog.
June 9th - PCB's with vendor. Case production est. completion mid July.
July 27th - Hardware arrived at manu. Cases currently being assembled & packed.
August 22nd - Boards arrived @ Switchplate. QC in progress.
September 20th - update here
October 21st - update here
November 24th - update here
December 9th - update here
January 15th, 2021 - 2nd batch shipped.
February 24th - Extras sale. GB complete.

How is Switchplate Peripherals in terms of order fulfilment? How far away are they usually when it comes to their expected delivery date?

I received an email and text this morning regarding cancellation of my order without an explanation. Did anyone else receive the same message? What is the reasoning behind this?

I was thrilled to be able to join the GB, so this definitely isn't something I wanted to see first thing on a Monday morning...

This was most likely due to the clean up process that they're doing to keep orders organized. I definitely recommend joining the Ion Discord that's in the original post here to get things cleared up for ya.
