No practical difference. I wonder if that right cap might have some trouble with switches that have LEDs. The left mount would be the safest for all purposes.
I believe it might have. Now im curious about how backlight keycaps are in its structure.
However, the right keycap has 8 "sticks" and the left just four, and feels a bit more solid when you try to bend it.
They are completely different keycaps in profile and height, too. Specially the funciton and esc row.
I'm doing a keycap mix between BTC-53 and Chicony KB-5161 (or 5161-like kb, don't fully know yet).
The base keyboard is the 5161, because it feels so much better to type on.
I'm gonna buy another BTC-53 for $5 and use it's keycaps too.
Maybe a keycap white paintjob may be involved, altough some don't recommend it.
