Can probably get QMK running on it, it's been done for other jigon boards before

Definitely in for the 84se. That weight is fantastic and I'm loving the no-lip this time :D

The TX84SE plate looks really similar to LZ CLS. Is it the same?

What colour is the green like? Would it be similar to the olive that you had for the TX1800 or a brighter one like the old tx84/87's?

Looking at the pics again, the keycaps are inset pretty far and the bezel height is taller than most other boards.  So you can subtract a few mm to get a better idea of the switch height compared to other boards which just barely cover the bottom of gmk caps.

At least TX60 is compatible with any standard 60% PCB, there are plenty to chose from and some really cheap.
Aside from the programming software the keyboard works on any OS.

P.S: you don’t have to buy a computer just to have windows, I for example have a Virtualbox VM.

You are right, the bezel covers almost 2mm from the base of the caps. Anyway even if it seems high in reality due to the design and angle it feels very comfortable to type on. I have been using it constantly for the last 2 months and it’s just amazing.

Hello Kin, I filled out the IC form.

Can you elaborate more on the new design TX84? I want to know if plate/PCB from TX84v1 will be compatible with the new TX84se (i.e. if I already have a TX84 can I drop the old plate into the new case and have it be compatible?

Also, have you got any more pictures of the bottom? I would like to see different views from a few different angles looking at the new design TX84 weight plate.

Thanks!

I see! Would still be interested depending on how the bottom weight plate turns out. In my opinion simpler is better, so even just a flat polished brass weight without any fancy details is still fine by me!

Are there any plans for a non-blocked top plate (a la TX87se)?

For the 84se, will there be options for

a) switching to an aluminum plate?
b) buying without accessories at a lower price point (wrist rest, pen, bag etc.)?

My friend BOK will start GB of new CP layout keyboard.
But it is different from txcp.
The plate is mounted on top case like LZ.cp

Bok.cp proto was made.
It is in the anodizing factory.

I would literally have no choice but to buy one. I don’t even know if I’d get it in 60 or 65. I’m scared I’d want both.

Would be nice for Yuri and Nautilus and maybe Dark Solarized.
