^^ Nice to see Bob hasn't lost his charm.

According to Rusty, Bob is going to look for a girlfriend towards the middle of the year. :eek:

________
why doesn't he wear a suit?

He wore his birthday suit!  :)) :)) :))

His other suit is a Santa suit :p

But on a more serious note, I'll see if I can find some more cut-out costumes.

a wedding would have been a good chance to get in touch with women (bridesmaids...) ;)

Bob thought he might have better luck with a WTB...Want To Bride :))

Yeah I need a center-stemmed stepped Caps Lock... :rolleyes:

Bob has his own spot on the keycap checking sheet!

Just so I don't forget:

Grumblegut has his own spot.  He likes the star spot on the Tsangan kit:

P.S. Grumblegut keeps calling it HYFER PUSE  :)) :)) :))

My white balance sucks...I was in a hurry hyper and didn't have time to take pictures with a proper camera.

Anyway, I have noticed that Bob is kinda off-whitish but not really yellow but I don't leave him on the keyboard exposed to direct sunlight. :'(

***CROSS POST***

Bob and Rusty inspecting the diodes.  Grumblegut just being himself.  I have no idea why the vendor snipped the paper holding the diodes in a roll.

1k and 1.5k ohm smd resistors...they didn't have 0805 so I got 0603 :))

Bob with an 0603 smd resistor on his forehead:

Bob wanted to stick in his nasal cavity but I said I wouldn't take him to the ER to have it removed if it got stuck.

Oh wow, you make that SMD resistor look really tiny. :p

And why/who would cut up a roll of diodes and count them before shipping... :eek:

Yes...they are small, miniscule, and tiny.  That one I took out to take a pic of...I lost. Good thing I ordered extras to account for breakages and losses! :))

After hand bending some diodes, it hit me: it's easier this way.  Also, I haven't been to to the physical shop (I ordered by phone from a local shop) but they sell DIY kits and educational packs so I guess they keep singles for easy repacking.  I imagine you can order them in a roll too.

Isn't BlingBro kinda like some person inspecting a pile of bones? :p :))
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

It's 2 orders of the 110-pack from mechanicalkeyboards.com  ;)

They shipped a box and this was inside. A 110-pack was ziplocked in each compartment.

Ah I see. Extra protection is always nice. :)

But I would assume that each box could fit more than 110, right?

Definitely but I guess 125 per compartment since the pack looks like it was cut in half (original looks like it was 2x2) and that would put at 500 per complete bin (2x2 compartments).

Let you know tomorrow. I should count how many switches there are anyway hehe

Each order was for 110 switches but each bag had 115 switches.:cool:

125 switches fit loosely in the pack.  I'll post a pic later.

I think it's time for Bob to teach Grumblegut some new tricks. All he knows so far are farting and grunting.  :))

He sneezes too. :))

Grumblegut used to collect toll in the form of a road tax but he got shut down by the government on the basis that there is no taxation without representation. :(

Grumblegut is upside down :eek:
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

Good thing rusty knows better than to indulge in some ice cream... Or he'd really be rusty.  :cool:

Bob the CC 3D: "Here's the package that arrived bros."
Rusty the Steel V2 BB: "BRO-M-G!!!"
BlingBro: "THE MARK OF THE MAKER!!!"

= == === == =

*Rusty and BlingBro bow in reverence*

Bob: "Guys, there's something I need to show you..."

= == === == =

(Note: The box arrived in pristine condition.  I just mangled it for the story)

Rusty: "What did you do?!"
Bob: "It wasn't me!"
BlingBro: "I've got a bad feeling about this..."

= == === == =

*brainssssss*
