Questioning the feel of SILO Command switches
« on: Tue, 03 December 2019, 11:47:21 »
Hey all,

I know this issue has been talked about with the SILO Beam switch, but not much information has been given to us about the Command switch. This is supposed to be a tactile switch. Since I am not a clicky person, I am quite interested in these switches.

Does anyone know about them, especially about the method of generating tactility? I will be disappointed to hear if they use anything like a notch type of tactility. I wish we just had something like ALPS tactiles, the ones that use tactile leaves. At least these Command switches will be smooth  :-\

Could be wrong here, but it looks like the first iteration of these aren't available yet. Looks like the slated release of them would be February 2020, in this board.

Could email the makers of the switch for more info maybe.

I wish it was possible to make both a linear and clicky

Uh...isn't that exactly what they're doing?

They have a force curve graph available, but not internal switch specifications
