It's Haata's Billings 6000 keyboard. It felt linear. I don't really recall it being anything special. Other than looking cool and being linear. Some more info in Haata's thread about it.

It is actual chrome and very heavy.
The KB above it, a sanyo MBC1000 / 1200 keyboard is also got a metal case, so you could make it look like that too (you can see the paint worn through on the front)
