Here's a pic that isn't mine:Show ImageI know for a fact that the owner licensed that picture as a CC-BY. https://www.flickr.com/photos/dork_vader/sets/72157642361894514/

Price check on this Cherry PBT dyesub set? A little hard to tell, but sounds like the alphas are decent, spacebar is scratched, and numpad is fairly worn. I offered $110, maybe too low? What do you guys think?http://imgur.com/a/B9t5F
Could anybody tell me the current price for "like new" and "brand new in box" full size model m's?
How much for a looks-like-new-but-is-actually-not Realforce 87u 45g EK edition bought off a GHer, used for about a week?

How much could I get for a relatively new Filco Majestouch 2 TKL? It has a few weeks of use, but it was purchased in 2012.
Why not mod it with a HID Liberation Device and a custom cable?
For a broken/for parts filco, with no idea what the problem is, I'd have trouble even justifying $50 USD. You have options for people in the states and Canada who do modding/repairs, depending on what the problem ends up being, it may be cheaper to pay someone to make the repair if you're not comfortable. It would depend on shipping, but I can't imagine a cable or controller repair costing more than a new board, even if you could get $50 for the board as-is.Professional Services Directory: http://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=45886.0

I'm 95% sure the problem is either the cable or the controller (both of which are very easy) but I haven't been able to nail down which is the exact issue. My choices are to buy a new cable/controller together and then just have a spare, or take a gamble and buy one or the other and then possibly having to pay double postage if the one I buy first isn't the fix. An assembled/testing KittenPaw is $30+shipping and the cheapest replacement cables I've seen are $25 shipped so a repair certainly doesn't seem to be "cheap" considering I could just buy another board (RK9000 or some such) for like $80.
If you replace the controller and cable with a nicer one, I think you'll have a great keyboard and it'll boost the price back to about $100... it might pay off in the end.
