House of cards S03 is better than daredevil.. I wouldn't bother watching daredevil, unless you're a super fan

Well I can't go into what I didn't like without spoilers...

But yea, Arrow is equally bad... I didn't even get through the first episode, so I never posted about arrow.

I liked it. The whole season is 1 fairly coherent story arc, which is pretty decent. Not quite focusing on the 'origin story' per se, but early times I guess. I never followed the comic, so I don't know if it sticks to cannon at all or not. The people cast in their roles are all pretty competent. Good production. Perhaps many complain due to the story is a bit slower paced than may be expected from comics source material, and it's not super heavy on action/fight scenes. I personally appreciated they didn't go bananas with the CGI... it makes it a bit more realistic not like a god damned cartoon.

Anyways, I watched only 2 episodes of DareDevil so far and it's been alright.
Only watched it since they said there's a cross over with Agents of Shield.
That tho is a really great show compared to Flash and Arrow.

It's good. I enjoy it, not something as cheesy and as bad as Flash or Arrow. The fight scenes look very much fake in 2-3 first episodes and get better (along with the story) through the middle of the season.


The only thing I hate is the trying-to-hard voice and act of D'Onofrio

I've been watching 1 daredevil ep then switching to house of cards.

This season of house of cards feels so weird.
Underwood hasn't even been elected yet and they're already mashing in all the elements from the third series Urqhart.
This just feels so thematically wrong.

Just watched some of Daredevil, and I have to say I really like it. It's dark and gritty. Unlike most of Marvels material thus far. It's Great.

I like it, very dark and suspenseful. i think its on par with arrow, i like flash more(less so in recent eps). has one cute girl so far, arrow is stacked in that regard though.

Just finished the whole season.  I like the costume, Marvel's been doing good with the design, look again at the similiar-theme Flash, DC still got a long way.

Arrow is a DC universe and only shares crossover with Flash at the moment.
Daredevil is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) which only the recent Marvel movies and tv show (agent of being very bad shieldhydra) share.

It's OK (on the 4th episode) but there are a ton of super slow moments that seem to drag on and on between any real plot development. I totally disagree about the whole CGI thing though. From my understanding Daredevil was specifically chosen because he is a more gritty and realistic superhero that doesn't require any huge FX budget. He isn't superhuman, and neither are any of his enemies.

Everything else aside, I think Punisher would've made a far better series if they wanted a lower budget comic book drama series. Or for that matter; Moon Knight.

The show isn't too bad so far. It's a bit slow in th basically all the bits there isn't any fighting. And I think the fighting sequences go on for just a little bit too long.

It's not as bad as the Flash or Scorpion though.

Well I thought the 2 movies were pretty good..

And the most expensive things were probably all the explosives...

Punisher just needs to blow things up.. and it'd be pretty spot on.

Is this Daredevil series particularly violent?

I tried getting into Gotham with nieces and nephews, and even that show that airs at 8pm on fox is far too violent for the very youngins.
