I took over someone else's place in this buy. When I didn't receive a tracking number I contacted them and they told me that they sent the keyboard to the other guy and that they should try to fix it. Now they wont answer my PM's.

Has anyone gotten backlight working? Does this support it? it has leds and I tried putting some in to see if it works... not sure if i need to activate it via key press or what not.

There's a port of QMK to PS2avrGB PCBs here. I have no idea how well it works or how many changes need to be made to support the Exent, but I'll try it out when mine arrives.

Is there a way you can contact the original buyer and work something out directly? I think that would be much faster than using Yuktsi or Juahenza as a middle-man.

A 32u4 based board should be immune to bootloader problems, except for the TADA68 because of the terrible decision to use the Mass Storage bootloader. It's 6kb, and the max protected bootloader size is 4kb, so part hangs over into program space.

Since it's a bit off-topic we can continue in PMs if you'd like, but in short yep. I've tried to force on both Windows and Linux (with some sudo added for good measure) and no luck.

As far as I know, the anodizing is still in progress for both black and silver. But it's close to completion.

I'm not familiar with hotlites, they are what allow switches to be hotswappable right? What defines whether or not they can be used?

I received a tracking number December 29th and it has never updated to anything. I just get:

Mine did that too, until it was actually in the shipper's possession.  You may have a waybill number but that doesn't mean much.  Good chance the GB crew hasn't turned it over to the shipper yet.

I was curious about this as well.  I have a tracking number but it never updates with any information.  That was almost two weeks ago so I'm confused as to when it will be dropped off to the shipper any info on that would be swell.
