Computer Ergonomics? (http://www.ergonomicsmadeeasy.com/store/category/ergonomic-keyboards-and-keypads/)
I would send anyone to this site to order anything computer related.
I have worked with them for several years and they have come a long way. They have completely redone their site and it looks amazing by the way!
Ergo's upgrades
-added about 50 new products.
-Real people to talk to when you call
-30 day money back - NO restocking fee!
-News letter that gives out savings coupons and specials
Right now they have a huge specials page up and some of the stuff they have up there is amazing!

I'm not really sure about that.
This is a $40 BTC-5100C, also sold as SIIG Minitouch Plus, and this web site is selling it for $80. It even lists the retail price as $95.
I don't know what to say about this kind of thing. Many of the other items are also priced this way.

Yeah, they're quite a large bit above what current retail/ebay prices are.
-
They had a nice pic there though.
I love how they always exaggerate the extra mouse reach by positioning the keyboard as far to the right as possible without making it obvious that they're accentuating the setup a little.
Not a bad site overall though. Say what you want about their pricing, but a shop like that might be the best way for a lot of people to see a good lineup of their more "ergo-friendly" accessories. Well, they could use some more mechanical keyboards and fewer crappy overpriced split boards.
The advice they give is a little chaotic, but it's about as detailed as you can get without confusing people who aren't ergonomics specialists.

I know what to say about it (in the words of the OP):
"NO restocking fee!"
...what? You expected free lunch?

I have the Siig Mini Touch Plus from Newegg that has the media controls and is rubber-dome but its different and only $25...

Is this a third different model and is it mechanical?

SMALL FORM FACTOR, NICE KEY RESPONSE, HAS A GOOD FEEL TO IT WHILE TYPING. AND IT'S NICE AND QUIET!
That should answer the mechanical question.

Looks like you probably have the USB mini (http://www.siig.com/ViewProduct.aspx?pn=JK-US0312-S1) and what "Ergonomics Made Easy" is selling is equivalent to the PS/2 mini (http://www.siig.com/ViewProduct.aspx?pn=JK-APS311-S1). Here is the Amazon link (http://www.amazon.com/Minitouch-PS-Plus-80-KEY-Mini-keyboard/dp/B000BO0ZAK/ref=sr_1_24?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1277770543&sr=8-24). It's listed right there on the SIIG website with MSRP of $49.99 rather than $95. "Ergonomics Made Easy" lists it as SKU BT40/5100-BLK. But it is apparently same as both the SIIG mini PS/2 as well as the BTC-5100c (http://www.btc.com.tw/pdf/5100c.pdf). Here is the Newegg BTC-5100c white version link (deactivated item) (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16823110008). Same board, just different part numbers. These are out of stock everywhere I find them listed, seems like the PS/2 version is giving way to the newer USB ones.
-
Thanks...that makes it a little high-priced but possibly unavailable elsewhere.
I still wonder if that PS/2 mini is mechanical.

My guess would be no based on both general chatter on current SIIG type boards and the 20 million key switch cycle rating which is typically what rubber domes are rated at vs. mechanical more like 50 million IIRC.

there are a lot of funny things in this shop. but also some stuff makes me curious:
http://www.ergonomicsmadeeasy.com/store/mac/product/mac-modular-keyboard/

http://www.ergonomicsmadeeasy.com/store/integrated-pointing-devices/product/desk-saver-keyboard/
switches?
http://www.ergonomicsmadeeasy.com/store/specialty/product/large-font-keyboard/
"High quality mechanical switch keys"
which one??
i would love ergorest ;)

somebody know the original keyboardnames for the boards above?

This has made me go WTF:

Yea heh, every other product is a "heated" this or "heated" that, like why? along with 50% markup from a regular retail store I'm thinking the OP just posted here to get free advertising, really no other reason.
