thanks for the link but their shipping costs to Germany are beyond pathetic ...Aiming at 2x 120 Silent MX Red (120US$) and the shipping is supposed to be 70$ (10-14 days)LOL ... a 4kg keyboard from Korea is cheaper to express-ship to Germany (5-7 days)

Their website tends to over calculate international shipping charges.

Their loss. There are other vendors…
I'm not in Germany, and I don't think Cherry sells switches directly to individuals.
That's a little unfair to MK. If you're already in Germany why can't you buy from the factory?

They wobble like Parkinson. These switches will not work with Gateron bodies as the Gateron bottom has extra plastic that hits the stem before the dampener can do its job. Therefore your downstroke would not be dampened but your upstroke willMy recommendation is to use Cherry MX bottoms paired with Gateron clear tops.
Semi-related, and pardon my ignorance, but: is there even a reason to buy non-rgb switches anymore? They don't cost more and they're more flexible, but even if you don't want RGB it works the same, surely? Just don't understand.
I know due from a build I just didHowever I've only tested it against the Gaterons with black bottom and clear top, the other variants of Gaterons and Zealios may be different. Which Gateron are you using?
I use these stems in Zealio bottoms without any issues. Typing on them right now. I'm curious what issue you're talking about with Gateron bottoms. I've put these stems in black bottom Gaterons as well without any issues. I can still feel the dampers on them. Here is a sound test I did of Gat reds vs Cherry silent stems(zealio bottoms)

I've been using silents for a couple months now and I don't think I can go back to stock MX stems. The soft bottom-out feels so good compared to the harsh clack from standard MX switches, despite it being a bit scratchy. Also.. it sounds so good.

For my build I used Zealio bottoms, Cherry RGB tops, Gateron Red springs and lubed them with Krytox 103. They are butter smooth and super quiet.
