I'm planning on getting a steel plate cut for a hand-wired 60% in a Poker case with a HHKB layout.
I already had one plate cut but did the spacebar wrong for the keycaps I have, so I want to do something a bit more flexible for different available spacebar configurations.
Could I get some feedback on this layout?
It should support:
- Bottom row layouts
- 1, 1.5, 6, 1.5, 1
- 1, 1.25, 6.25, 1.25, 1
- 1.25, 1.25, 6.25, 1.25, 1.25
- 6u spacebar
- 76mm or 95mm stab spacing
- centered or offset spacebar switch
- 6.25u spacebar
- 80mm or 100mm stab spacing
I have widened the holes for the bottom row switches and spacebar stabilizers to support these different options.
The keyboard will be hand-wired plate mount MX switches and cherry stabs.
Will the wider cutouts cause any problems with switch/stab fit and stability?
Any common 6u or 6.25u spacebar configuration I've missed?
