Who said IBM M15's, Blue Alps Northgates, GRAY/GREEN SUPER RARE VINTAGE XT 'boards, etc. were expensive?

Look at this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260350719247

It would be nice until the finger smudges blur the blinken lights.

M15s typically go for $400-600 USD.  This thing is just outrageous.

The Optimus Maximus does use Cherry ML switched, AFAIK, so it should be somewhat tactile.

There is no support for linux so it's pretty useless to me.  Lebedev seems to prefer/develop/support macintosh primarily.  I wouldn't mind seeing a low res cheap(er)/commodity version with decent tactile response and just enough resolution to present different keyboard layouts.  I don't see why I *need* funky colour customisable icons - sure it's nice and cool, but for the price, no thank you.

wow $810 for a friggin touchpad. thats insanity. i got this giant adesso touchpad for $60 bux (still too expensive in my book) and this thing is pretty intense. i hate touchpads though.

ebay is great for finding eager rich folk. im still kicking myself for not waking up to win the last m15 for sale. haha. $480 was a steal.

It isn't, but what do you want me to do with the 2k..put it in a bank? Buy stocks? So far what I put in keyboards has been a better investment than what the combined financial sector could muster ;)

...And that's a d*mn shame. :(

Yess..I got another one on the cheap. This one might be NIB ("not used"). Gonna pick it up later this week. If it's good and passes the sensor test, next Xmas might be very sweet with two of these to sell. I love people who don't know ebay :)

Another Fingerworks?
