Hey Rama,

Would you say that the gold on the Haze will be produced in the same color as the M65-A Gold (Champagne)?

Really want the Gold top, but am not a fan of purple.  Don't really need a second base sitting on my shelf. Hm.

Yes! We're currently honing the colour of the anodising to be more in-line with this. First colour bath we were not happy with and are currently redoing :)

A base for each quarter of the year   :p

Oh sweet I think there was a lot of confusion on the gold in particular due to the variations in the pictures. But, for me personally, if it is more of a traditional gold I'm all over it.

Totally agree. The more the haze gold color is light and dusty, and less mustard-y, the better! I've already preordered Haze, so if the real life proto looks good I'll probably order a second (red) base to go with GMK Red Samurai.

Maybe I missed it, but is there anything available showing Koyu's dimensions, similar to this illustration Rama provided for the M60-A?: https://i.imgur.com/hpG6IVC.jpg

I'm most interested in the height at the front and at the back.

Man... just realized that bottom row is rough for legend compatibility. 1.5u "Super" are rare and 1.5u "Fn" keys basically don't exist.  I'm in for 2, but am now legitimately rethinking it.

For future projects, is there any chance of IC's or other mechanism to incorporate community feedback or is Rama a pure "designer" brand at this point?

Not trying to hate, just want to gauge my expectations.

Where are your Super and Fn keys supposed to go? For bottom row most people do; Ctrl (1.5), Win (1), Alt (1.5), Space (7), Alt (1.5). Then have the function key on the right column.

For Mac on this layout, it would be Control (1.5u), Alt (1u), Super (1.5u), Space bar (7u), Fn (1.5u). One could use the right most 1.5u for another Super as well.

I use all the OS's, but for work I generally use Mac, which is common among developers and designers.

The layout isn't the worst, but it's awkward enough for me to second guess buying 2 of them.

Hi Rama, quick question for you:

On the tank, what kind of PVD coating are you using? If you aren't using DLC, have you considered it for the scratch resistance? Just curious about how concerned we should be about scratches/scuffs appearing on the finish.

Hey Taco! We've experimented with DLC in the past on some our other products and it is an incredibly awesome coating - but only really comes in a deep black colour whereas for this version we wanted to do our Moon colourway. As for scratches/scuffs with this TANK edition, we're still going through samples to see which level hardness we want to go with the PVD - but with increased strength comes cost. We've measured our current PVD offerings at a Mohs' hardness of 5 which means most household items won't scratch it (unless considerable force is applied) - hope that's answered the questions!

Excited to show more of it! It's a board which will last, am excited to get to manufacturing and get these out to everyone <3
