So i airbrushed my HHKB...

Woke up this morning, hot day, bought a hhkbpro2, disassembled it, did a anti-slip foam mod. Blackmailing my friend to airbrush it for me, done.

Interesting board.

Your how to guide forgot to mention carefully separating the tabs that hold the front of the case together as they break easily.

Paint flakes to fingers to food to mouth to digestion system. Be careful. There are tons of things that are carcenogenic.

you caught me there! We forgot to snap a picture during the primer stage, and before the primer stage was some massive sanddings  ;D

Been waiting forever for a good aluminum case, its happening in a few threads but maybe not for the original pcb and such?  :'(

That paint job turned out better than I would have thought for paint on plastic.

What type of paint is it? Enamel or acrylic? And was the base coat self etching?
