I see your point.

I guess the people that gravitate towards TGR are probably the same folks that like clean looks.

I think having the bottom weight look like that is cool. For example, having the option to replace the CF "weight" here with a bismuth weight would be cool.

I wouldn't try that. bismuth is brittle and the CF plate/weight for the Jane CE is way too thin.

however, i enjoy where your head is. haha

Several folks still think my custom anodized Alice and 910 look trashy.

Worth mentioning that the carbon fiber piece is just a "plate", rather than the actual weight being the interior brass one.

On that note though, I would like to get a custom back plate to someday replace the carbon fiber :)

the issue for me is that i enjoy the bismuth for the imperfections. and a lot of people in this hobby want that pristine look.

I sold one weight once for an Alice and it was a headache. Maybe the hobby isn't ready for that sort of thing yet.

yeah i paid 220 for that terminal and sold it less than two weeks later for 170. It wasnt a good look.

I keep IMSTO irish on it mostly. I just thought terminal might look like a cool grimey fallout style keyboard. but wasn't feeling it.

Lastly, not gonna lie idk where this gasket goes. and i'm having a hard time finding it. haha. good thing diego has a build stream somewhere on his twitter.

Being Twitter famous would net me a better outcome professionally than being relevant on Twitch

But yeah, there should be a VOD. If not, just hmu

It basically just goes between the PCB and plate after you've assembled it.

Lastly, your 910 is p dope. Potatoes gonna potate.

It's super easy. I absolutely encourage folks to try weird things with their boards. Make it your own, I'm tired of seeing the same OG beige on every high end tkl.

So I’ve got the new Tealios coming in for this board. CF plate or Alu plate - I still can’t decide. And now I’m the bell of the ball as I got my Aramex number.

Go CF. Heard good things about CF, mostly soundwise. Similar to aluminium in terms of feels but better "soundstage", apparently.

Get water based acrylic paint and it will come off easily with some isopropyl and baby wipes. The resin based kind can sometimes be a pain to remove. Also make sure you pick an acrylic paint that is a flat colour and not one with particles in as these can sometimes be fine enough to become lodged in the anodisation itself and not be removed.

Pretty sure I did it on a TC stream for the Space65 as well if you want to hunt the VOD down

NotGlacier- The link I posted is resin based. I do have to put in a little extra elbow grease to remove infills, but i've done it two or three times now with just qtips and isopropyl alcohol with no issues.

If there's an easier way (water based) then by all means give it a whirl.

Beautiful build.  I tried to hunt down griseann a while ago with no luck.

For those who changed their shipping addresses, did you wait until you got your shipping invoice or email yuktsi ahead of time?

I’m not sure if it’s just the lighting, but it looks like the left side of the ano is a CE, while the right side looks like the blue-grey ano

What are you going to use for the CF plate - I have the 65g tiff blue tealios on order.  BTW, I just posted to your reddit post (dazzlepuzzle).

here is my CE with GMK pulse. I used the milky gat blacks with 205g, hiney fr4 half plate and h88 thin pcb. Waiting on switches to build the CF plate, excited about trying that out.

What are you going to use for the CF plate - I have the 65g tiff blue tealios on order.  BTW, I just posted to your reddit post (dazzlepuzzle).

hopefully some vintage black if I can find some, but might just use more milky gat blacks for now.

Are you planning on using the gasket on any of those builds?

I’m going to use it in mine with the tealios.

Do you know when you received shipping confirmation?  I’m trying to time out my shipment to PA since I have an Amarex number but nothing shows up in Aramex tracking.

Same. I want to try to schedule a pickup with UPS, but Aramex isn't showing it yet. I'm assuming it's just a label and shipping soon, but I'm not sure.
