Whatever is normal on Colemak. I don't use that layout so I only have the generic layoutfile from wikipedia or whatever. I will find out again what color caps the individual can be. I think possible white, grey, blue... but I will make sure.

lysol, I have a question about the blue for the Miami set. Is it the same color that was on the Alt RGB legends from the last GB? If so, I would really like a different color. That blue does not fit with the Miami. The picture that was posted does look like the Blue is different, but I can't tell if it's the flash that is making it look as such. Either way, even that blue could stand to be more cyan.

What about this Ivan? :)

See mock ups, exact same colors will be given as legend files to imsto for printing. Seems to be a pretty wysiwyg between files and the actual printed colors on the caps.

Thanks for the response

We should get a breakdown close to the end date and perhaps make some changes to our second choices.  Like the black legend US ANSI is likely to go through then, and probably the white Miami set.  But I do wish more people ordered the Red Alert set!

Wow, that's kinda disappointing. I guess at least 2 of my 5 ordered sets won't make it :(

I hoped at least one of the German Sets would go through, because there are many Germany users here and on DT, but I guess the missing ISO-Enter scared people off...

On the other hand there were so many awesome GBs this year already that people might just be broke and have spent their keyboard budget for 2013 already :D

There is still all month. Towards end of month I will cut sets that didn't make it and give chance for anyone ordered those cut sets to change if they wish. If still pretty much nothing is there I will extend the ordering for awhile. If there is still nothing, then I will revisit the concepts later.
For the ISO peeps, if there is say 100 that order ISO set, we could get some ISO return blanks from GMK. I doubt a 3 pack of ISO return keys would be too expensive.

That sounds good! I'd be in for enter keys for my 2 ISO sets. But those would match the other modifiers colorwise correct?

Do the Nordic - ISO layout have the extra characters at the bottom left on the A/S/D/Z/X/T/O/N/M keys? I haven't seen them on the Swedish, Danish, or Norwegian layout. I'm probably up for a Black Nordic - ISO.

Those extra characters come from extended Finish, and would only be on that Scandinavia design. The black legends version won't have all the extra legends just plain Nordic layout like you would see on a Filco, qpad or what have you.

Was this something that did not help?

Go to "Data" and click on "Named and protected ranges". Then it's pretty straightforward.

Sorry to ask a stupid question, but I am seriously thinking about ordering a set:

- These keys would be compatible with which keyboard brands? I currently have a Max Keyboard X9, and I know that the spacebar and some of the other keys are not compatible.
- Do you think these will be compatible with WASD V2 that is suppose to come out soon?
- Can I order a mac command key in addition to windows key? I use my keyboards on both mac & windows.

Thanks! Looking forward to ordering :)

Is this similar to the blank PBT sets offered here?
http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=113_1277&products_id=18339

No, the caps in this GB have Cherry profile while those caps in your link have the unique Leopold profile which is taller than Cherry but smaller than OEM.

Additionally the Leopold spacepar has different stems. The spacebar in this GB has the standard stems that fit on 99% of modern keyboards like Filco, Ducky, etc.

EDIT:

I assume you are asking because your set is way cheaper than these sets here.

Well, there is no info whether the Leopold keys are PBT or ABS and they are blank and not dyesubbed so you cant really compare the price. 75$ for a set is a good deal if this is what you are asking.

The only thing I don't really like about the set is the winkey design. I'd prefer it to be simpler.

It's 80's inspired like. What can be wrong with that? it will look baller, trust me.

There is two language options for Miami. US/Ukrainian and Spanish/Ukrainian. It's called Odessa remix for a reason vato.

Oh thanks. I don't want Ukrainian on my keyboard. So I guess I won't order that. I agree though, those colors are fly.
Also I've never heard the term "Odessa Remix".

Edit: by never heard I meant I never heard Odessa anywhere but here.

It's labeled as such in the OP, Miami (Odessa Mix). If you want straight single language I will try and swing it in some variation with GMK doubleshots one of these days.

Can't believe I've only just seen this GB.  Quick question:
Will the Irish - US Intl. - ANSI set have the extra light green characters, or are those unique to the GB ISO version (I ask because I want them)?  I'm not familiar with different country legend standards.

Thanks!

Pretty sure the layout that is shown is what you get with the US ANSI set--it has the additional Irish legend.

As the RGB is only Shift/Ctrl/Alt, can anyone suggest where to get Win and Menu keys in, say, black on yellow (Win) and black on orange (Menu) that would match in profile, legend etc.?
"Because keyboards are accessories to PC makers, they focus on minimizing the manufacturing costs. But that’s incorrect. It’s in HHKB’s slogan, but when America’s cowboys were in the middle of a trip and their horse died, they would leave the horse there. But even if they were in the middle of a desert, they would take their saddle with them. The horse was a consumable good, but the saddle was an interface that their bodies had gotten used to. In the same vein, PCs are consumable goods, while keyboards are important interfaces." - Eiiti Wada

I think I asked this before but not sure if I got a real answer.
Would it be possible to get nordic legends on an ANSI layout?
I am bigfatmc over at other places!

Well, Ivan is only offering what is shown in the mockups.

But if you get 20 people to buy such a set, he'd probably allow it. Keep in mind that you won't have the "<>" key when you use ANSI though

Yeah pretty much. If there is enough interest I can make DE/Nordic/whatever happen on an ANSI physical set.
RGB is only the 6 keys. Maybe next time we can get some extra keys in other colors for win/menu/whatever with it.
Irish US Intl is as shown in the OP, GB Intl is very similar ISO version with some legends shuffled around but is more or less the same thing.

Current orders:
Black US: 14
Black DE: 3
Black ES: 1
Black FR: 1
Black NO: 1
Red US: 10
Red DE: 3
Blck/Chrcl: 1
Irish US: 7
Ural: 12
Miami US/UA: 4
Miami Ltd: 15
Miami ES/UA: 2
Scandinavia: 4
Blank: 14

Total: 92

Still a long way to go.

Yeah, that's a good idea. Right now it seems like none of the ISO sets will be close to 20 and I think this is due to the missing Enter key. Apparantly people want complete sets or nothing.

I'd buy ANSI DE sets any day :)

The lack of ISO enter key is a hassle. Still wondering myself why any company doen't make an investment in order to produce PBT Enter keys (IIRC, Cherry and Ducky are the only ones providing them). I know it's an expensive thing (around $12.000) but it should pay for itself after some time :S

Foreseeing the lack o succes of the ISO ES layout, I guess I'll have to survive with a blank and Irish sets.

How about the novelty caps? Will they be made first if some of them reach 20 orders?

Wellp.  If all the sets I ordered are produced then my wallet will be hurting.

You made too many attractive sets.
