FedEx guy just dropped off my RF 87U 55g. DEFINITELY going to need to adjust from MX browns... There's no tactility to the RF board - it's just extremely smooth and comfortable to type on. And the noise of it is very interesting. It sounds like you're typing on rubber caps.

Indeed. I really really thought I had Topre switches figured out before ordering this.... I was very wrong! I thought it would be like MX Browns but with more resistance after the tactile bump. It's more like Cherry Reds, but with added resistance after about halfway down, and an overall smooooove feeling.

True. It's hard to describe the feeling of typing on Topre switches. You just have to feel it for yourself. Or you can go type on a nice rubber dome keyboard while saying "thock, thock, thock" in your head as you type. :D

now that would be an expensive keyboard.

c3po and R2 D2 would be so cool.

A good day for me!

Dolch PAC 62 and a depth black cherry mx CC.

Man...vintage cherry mx blues feel way better than modern cherry mx blues!  They don't even feel like the same switch.

What do they feel like Akimbro?

They are more tame...quieter, less tactile.  Like a modern cherry mx blue toned down to level 5 instead of 10.

Hey Akimbo do you think the difference in feel for the switches is because Dolch is PCB mounted rather than plate mounted? I have heard PCB mounted feels better for tactile switches

Got my first Cherry keyboard today, and I'm loving it. Got a Ducky with MX Greens, and they're great. The actuation force doesn't feel excessive at all. It's also my first keyboard with front facing legends, and it's taking me some time to get used to them in that position.
