Here with the Odroid-W, the donor PSP and a match (for size reference):

Sadly, my smallest screw driver is still too big to unscrew the PSP case. Have to way until tomorrow to get a precision set  :'(

What's the plan here? Looks interesting.

The plan is to build a custom handheld for retro gaming out of the Odroid-W (same SOC then the original Raspberry Pi) and the PSP 4.3" screen. The Odroid connects to the TFP401 through HDMI and the TFP401 connect to the PSP screen via 40 pins ribbon.

The Odroid has a built-in Lipo charger and Lipo connector, as well as an header for the RTC clock battery. The GPIO will be used for the buttons and stick and I only miss the I2S DAC for sound goodness (custom built). Case design will be made once I have the prototype working.

Correct, that is my BDSM Black. Most of my Mummy IIs now belong to other people. Had 7, now I have 2.
People in the 1980s, in general, were clearly just better than we are now in every measurable way.

In addition to my Toothache Grumpki a couple of days ago I also received my Marlow White order.

I order the 2nd LT commissioning package.  The jacket and trousers need to be tailored so I might post a pic of those when they are done.

These got me the most excited.
-Company Grade Service cap. Slightly too big, have to exchange it.
(left to right)
-Aviation Branch Insignia: Have been wanting to be a pilot since 3rd grade (senior in college now); blackhawks here I come.
-2nd LT Rank: Been trying to achieve this rank for 4 years now. I commission in May. We have a branching ceremony in December which requires the full monkey suit.
-2nd LT Aviation shoulder boards.

Also got some stuff that I posted in the Clothes thread, but didn't want to my a super huge post.

If I may, what do you do? Are you training to be a pilot for the military?

Short answer; yes.

Long answer:

Context: I enlisted into the Army National Guard and was able to obtain a ROTC contract which is a way of becoming an officer.  Right now my job is to graduate college.  In addition to just a regular full time engineering student I have ROTC events such as: physical training, labs, ROTC lectures, Field Training Exercises, community service, etc.  I also drill one weekend a month with a National Guard unit and shadow officers there.

Once I graduate college, I will be commissioned as a 2nd LT into the Aviation branch of the Army National Guard.  From there I will be going to Ft. Rucker for 13-18 months of training.  Since it is the Indiana NG, I will more than likely fly the UH-60 Black Hawk.  The items pictured reflect the branch and 2nd LT rank that I will be commissioning into this May.

Been a long road so far, but almost to the finish line. 162 days to go.

nice knife! cool to see what you decided on.

Thanks! I'm loving it so far. But now it's become almost like keyboards...I must have another..
Have you stabbed anybody yet? How is it on the stabby scale?

10/10 on the slice-y scale. 9/10 on the stabby scale.

Blade almost suctions into the flesh. Kinda hard to get out.

Well, I'm sold. How many limbs do I have to sell to afford one?
No, he’s not around. How that sound to ya? Jot it down.
