I'm Nicholas.Wang.I know almost who plays keyboards know EVA.We already had EVANGELION-01 and EVA-2 Production。
Now I take the EVA00 PROTOTYPE to you guys.

It's a breath of fresh air.  A lot of people in Japan use romanji input with an IME.  You don't need the kana keys technically. 
The only reason I'd say for them are the subjective "cool look" factor. 

Personally, I think that kana only looks good with high contrast, and even then, I don't use them much.  It's really similar to sticking anime livery on your car I think (and yes, I did go in that phase).

But the theme it's pulled from is directly traditionally Japanese, and there's Japanese splattered all over the movie, her machine and cockpit. It makes sense here.

I really love this!

Some of the spacing on the novelties with kanji is a little strange. I think it'd look better if the characters were spaced and covered more of the key.

I also think it'd be neat if there were moon imagery included. Since Rei is so associated with the moon. That shot of Rei's silhouette against the moon in ep 6 is pretty iconic and it'd be really neat to include it but I understand if you can't.

I like this design, but personally may prefer a color card similar to wck. I'm not sure if the white and orange of this object are well balanced
