Why was order cancelled?

I ordered a Blue tex case. The payment went through and money was deducted from bill me later.

The next day, it was marked as cancelled. I inquired why it was cancelled and have gotten no answer. I am pretty upset as I had to go through the process of adding all my info and putting in billing info, see it go through, only to have it cancelled with no reason why.

I no longer see the tex case in the items purchased list in bill me later but I have 2395 left to use instead of 2500 like I had before ordering. Pretty upset right now, I really want that case and it was in stock when I went through the hassle of ordering.

When I order I just login, checkout is easy.

Even though you could still be added to cart to check out.  I've noticed that with many things listed on mk.com.  They say 'out of stock' but you can add them to cart and check out.  That part seems like poor correspondence between inventory numbers and website functionality.  But the blue one's been marked "out of stock" for a while now--before you ordered, I think.

When I ordered the blue, it said there was 1 left in stock. After purchasing it, it said not in stock. Somebody may have sniped me, but its ridiculous that my payment was processed and it said purchase completed even when sold out.

I don't understand. They refunded the money, right? Is your only grievance that it remains deducted from your monthly credit limit? If so, that seems to be an issue with BillMeLater, not mk.com.

Inventory and logistics systems are more complicated and error prone than you probably realize. Cut them some slack.

The refund should be sent to Bill Me Later.  It might take some time to show up on your BML account.  If not, it will at least show up on your PayPal as available balance, which you can then apply to your BML account.  Beyond your original point, but figured I'd add this.

We sincerely apologize for not being able to fill your order. We are expecting more of them to be restocked soon. Please understand that it is not our intent to mislead anyone concerning stock availability, and when these things happen because of the fallibility of computation devices/software/etc., we default to giving our customers their money back. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Though next time would be nice to include a comment when you send out the cancelation e-mail.

So it turns out that my address wasn't PayPal verified so they can't send out international order.  Which is weird because I paid with VISA and I didn't even use PayPal, now I wonder why it needs to be PayPal verified? 

It got sorted out in the end so I just had to make the order again, but the 2nd time I ordered the shipping rate cost $10.20 more than last time?

I'm kinda like ?!?!?!?!??  What's going on?!!??!?!?!

Not sure about the shipping, but PayPal in our card processor, and they decide what they want to protect or not. We don't make the rules, we just have to follow them. Please don't take it personally, we don't assume fraud, we just need to be protected in the event of fraudulent activity.

The reason for the price increase is that the initial weights for the keycap sets would have had them sent as First Class Int'l Mail, but they should be going Priority Int'l Mail. That is why the $10.20 cent price change. It just happened that your first order was placed before we made the change, but it has nothing to do with your order specifically.

Yeah no worries, I blame PayPal for it. 

Though maybe I should've just paid with PayPal in the first place instead of credit card.  And I find it funny because PayPal actually do have my address and it's verified with my bank account.

It's like oh PayPal why must you have horrible memory and not remember the two together.

At least the items I ordered are coming my way now so all is good.
