I see one of the extras available is "stabilizers". Can we reasonably infer from this that the long awaited Rama stabs will be ready to buy with Jules (if so, very excite), or will it just be regular Cherry/GMK stabs?

GMK screw-ins. RAMA has been very transparent with their upcoming releases and if there's any development regarding the stabs, it will be posted through at the proto(type) blog.

That's the idea.

Unlikely. I'd like to lock the colors wit the 4 current ones.

The group buy will be done in a similar way as it was with the M60-A. The orders will be fulfilled by Rama Works.

Sorry if this has been asked before (didn't go through all 4 pages of comments) but is there any weight estimation?
Also i have to admit that the design looks amazing, so clean and minimal...
Once again great work Zamb!
Can't wait for the GB!

The PCB doesn't support split bars. For Verne, my request for Wilba was "remove as many things as possible, I don't want a cheese plate". I don't use split spacebars (Alice aside), and the keyboard kit won't come with one.

And regarding split spacebars, alternate layouts: the M65-A for me was almost a deal breaker. The RGB light leaking from everywhere, having to spend time aligning the switches, the uneven look the plate had (you could see the PCB in some parts)...

Definitely not my cup of tea.

Thank you for responding. I had the idea of building this board with Nautilus Nightmares and split space. It just seems like such an intense combination. Knowing your reasons for making the design decisions you have helps me appreciate your goals for the board. Also feel valued that you take the trouble to explain. Looking forward to following along with development. Thanks again!

Hey, I'm exactly 432365 months late to the party. Just kidding, but seriously would love to get updates on this beautiful board :D

I saw the Rama Foundry site listing for both this and the Thermal and see that wilba is adding hot swap as an option to the Thermal. Any chance this will also be added as an option for your Jules, since the PCB is made by wilba as well?

icrievrytim

edit: if it uses the wt-60b pcb couldn't it also use the wt-60bx pcb which is hotswap? The new Thermal has compatibility for both so it should theoretically be possible right?

edit2: I'm dumb it doesn't use wt-60b it uses wt-60 jule edition and its the wt-60b that is hotswap. :c
