DIY USB-C Help

Hello,
I've been trying to find some information about how to make a USB-C to USB-A Male cable.
Can anyone point me in the right direction??
I initially got interested in DIY custom cables from this site. https://geekhack.org/index.php?topic=44924.0
But I can't find any information about making cables with USB-C.

Any advice would be great, thank you!

I've just started getting into mechanical keyboards so all my keyboards require USB-c connections.

USB type C is essentially you normal USB but with extra pins for faster data and power transferring. To be exact it has 20 more pins than a regular 4 pin USB. I think to make one you would have to connect the Vcc pin on the USB to any one of the VCC pins on the USB type, same goes with the ground. I'm not entirely sure about this step, but I believe if you connect the D+ to any one of the positive data pins and D- to any one of the negative pins you should be good to go.


Although I don't see why you would need to use type C, unless that is the only type that your computer will take. If the keyboard connect to the computer through type C, the keyboard will almost always come with a type C cable.
