Moogle Kit for Dolch Keycaps

Many of you are familiar with Moogle Kits in black and white/beige.  It was available in Round 3 group buy and again in the current Round 4 group buy.  Moogle kit is a supplementry kit for genuine Cherry double shot keycaps to use on modern keyboards like Filco and Ducky keyboards with 1.25 width front row keycaps (also works for leopold except spacebar).  It contains right long shift, center-stem capslock, 2 Control keys, 2 Alt keys, 2 Windows keys, and an application key, all 1.25 width.






Moogle Kit for Dolch is the same as the ones above, except it has the color scheme to go with Dolch keycaps from Dolch PAC keyboards.  These keyboards use double shot keycaps made by Cherry.  See picture below:



If you have a set or two of Dolch keycaps, you will want this Dolch Moogle Kit for it.  It replaces all the remaining white keys in the picture above (not the red ESC key).

According to the data I grabbed from the round 3 thread (at the end of the wiki page), the white/beige kit cost $8 with 22 sets ordered, and black cost $12 with less than 15 sets order.

The splintered, current Moogle kit group buy is at $19 a set for either black or white/beige color.  I would expect this Dolch kit be less than $15 from round 4.  But will have to wait for 7bit to tell us the final cost later.

Can we call this Litster kit?  :wink:

Will these use the standard SP font or the new custom legends from cycloverid's dedicated group buy?

This moogle kit should use the new legends/svc files that the new modifier group buy is using. It's the closest to cherry corps fonts. May be you can arrange some kind of collab or something. I'd be interested in one set.

Had conversation with both of them.  Yes, 7bit says he will use the new design from cycloverid, and cycloverid says he will pass it over after this moogle kit group buy is closed.  So we are good.

I can put you down :-) but I can't put you down for two.  Order your Dolch Moogle Kit through 7bit's group buy 4 thread.  Also, there is no such thing as Black Dolch Moogles.  There is Dolch mmoogle kit to go with Dolch PAC double shot keycaps, Black moogle kit to go with Cherry Black double shot keycaps, and white/beige moogle kit to go with white/beige Cherry double shot keycaps.

CHERRYDOLCH -- the Dolch "Moogle kit" -- was removed from the group order for lack of interest, some weeks ago. That was when I dropped out.
That has happened for several kits, apparently. Some have come. Some have come and gone. I couldn't keep up with all of it. I have better things to do than keeping track of all the things that happen with it. The sudden price increase wasn't very fun either.

7bit used to post lists of kits in which he wrote annotations about which ones were about to get cut because of too few orders and which ones would stay. It did not look like CHERRYDOLCH would make the cut. That was right before the deadline date, and I thought that the deadline date meant something ...

Before posting, I also checked the price list and could not find CHERRYDOLCH there. What is the price of the kit in your email notice?
If the price has not increased too much, then I might just add it to my order again ...

Yes, gb4 is very confusing.  Order now.  If it gets canceled later, so be it, but get all the orders in now and see where it will take us.
