I'm not sure that I'll have the money ready for the deadline. I REALLY want the keys and don't want to drop out but my PC motherboard just broke and I had to spent the money I was going to use on these keys on that. Horrible thing is I'd have the money by like next Friday but payments are due before then

I just put some Wyse keycaps on my Leopold and need something to use for the Windows keys, old school Cherry moogle kit doesn't look quite right.

Melissa says the Escape SVG might be too small to work. I'm having her do a prototype to make sure. It's unclear still whether this will set the schedule back or not. I'll keep you guys posted.

The Escape prototype is underway. Melissa says it should only cause about a week's delay, assuming it comes out right. That puts the finished keys arriving at my doorstep around 19 January.

A few of you still haven't paid. With the extra delay caused by the prototype there's no need to cut things off artificially, but please get the money in ASAP. I'll be submitting the order no later than 20 December.

There are just three people who haven't paid. I've made special arrangements with Mackem (and RColinTaylor), but the other two I'm counting as no-shows as of now. They can still be part of the buy if they send payment before I submit the order to SP (around 20 December).

So now we're just waiting for the Escape prototype to be finished, which will take about two weeks. If it looks good, which I expect it will, Melissa tells me we should be on-track to finish key production by 19 January. That's a Thursday, so I would expect everyone's keys to be in the mail no later than the following Tuesday (the 24th). I've already started addressing stickers and doing customs forms.

I'd worry more about E height and left border distance. In the G80 L Cherry I'm currently typing (I haven't Cherry double-shots at hand, so please confirm!), the F's have about 2mm, while the SP ESC (Fentek) is about 2.5mm tall. Cherry keys also have a left border about 1-1.2mm, while the SP has ~1.5-1.75mm, being about 0,5mm offset to the right. This looks to be the case in your pic, because the correct border left border size should be smaller than the E width, not equal. But then again, this may vary in G80 H keys.
Not every F row Cherry key is completely centered. Some are about 6mm up and down, while other seem to have a ~0,5mm deviation to the bottom.

Thanks for the analysis.

Currently the E height should measure almost exactly 2mm tall accounting for the letter widths (If anything a hair more). I made the left margin 1.5-1.6mm wide. Your measurement of 1.0-1.2mm seems more reasonable comparing the two images. I'll make this adjustment.

It is perfectly vertically centered. Or atleast it was in the SVG file I sent.

It's too bad the image is a little blurry and in perspective. It's hard to tell if this cutter width is dead on or a little too wimpy:/
