Always use the bot to know prices :P

It's the best way. Wiki isn't really up to date.

how to do this?

Send the codes(ex: RETRO/WHATEVER, check out http://deskthority.net/wiki/Round4_Pricelist for an approximate list of all codes ) you want to 7bit_R4 as private message on this forum. One per line. If you want more than 1 add how much after the code. (like in OP)

The first time, you also need to include an email address, so add:
EMAIL youremail@gmail.com

as a separate line at the end of the message.

The bot will send you an email with your invoice within an hour.

Then you can always add/remove/cancel everything afterwards

Order more, so it cheaper per key cap!

Code: [Select]
Order-ID|Description|Price|Qty|Pcs|Total
        |           |     |   |   |
Sum     |before fees|     |   |  0| 0.00
        |           |   0%|   |   | 0.00
Total   |           |     |   |  0| 0.00

^^^ What is this?

It is cheap and all for free, but 0 key caps are not very pleasant!

I would place a nice round 4 order but still can't make heads or tails of it.

I want this exact setup including the "regular" modifiers and I'm not sure thats even possible....I see others asking the same questions also and are just criticized.

I ordered 10 of each color, and I got a $20.81 shipping cost.

edit: hmm I just got a new invoice with cheaper shipping. But I already payed my 50% but my invoice jumped to about 50% less now!

do I get a refund or just have my full amount payed now?

You just pay the remaining amount when it's time.. it has not to be exactly 50%

okay, its only a $7 difference to full amount that I payed.

so when its time, just pay the remaining $7?

or I can add 13 more keys to my order and it will be really close to 50% of my order total then!

If you want that exact kit, including the "regular" modifiers, and also the diamond modifiers, you need to order this:

ROUND3/STANDARD125
ROUND3/WINDOWS125
ROUND3/WASD/ORANGE
ROUND3/MODSYM125
ROUND3/GEEKHACK

If you have any sets with LOWQTYFEES, I suggest ordering 3 of each of those sets. Someone will buy the extras from you, I'm sure.

I payed about $7 less then the current invoice.

which was about 50% off the old invoice.

but this is nill now, I just put in for 13 more caps.

i'm sure I can pawn off the extras later if needed.

edit: well I added more and my shipping went up again.

Now i'm about $2 less then 50% should that be ok?

yes, I understand that.

But as it stands right now, I have payed my 50%, which is about $2 short (since the adding of the extras keys, because of shipping decrease) I want to know if thats ok for now.

The full amount when this GB ends, will be payed later in full when requested.

Thanks a lot!  I think I'm starting to figure this out... the only thing I'm unsure of now is payment.  I made a payment on ~9 keycaps that I bought earlier in the week not knowing this was tied to Round4... I wasn't sure what to do with the 'text' so I included it in the paypal payment but it doesn't seem like my invoice has been updated at all since the bot did not echo anything back.  Any tips?  I want to figure this out before I commit to a few sets, it'd be a shame to spend 100+ and get nothing.  THX

If you want to add more or remove something, just set to the quantity you want after the item. Remove an item completely by setting quantity to 0. For example:

ROUND3/KBDRUNNER/BLACK 0
ROUND3/KBDRUNNER 8

Hope this helps! I didn't really understand what you meant by 'text.'

  • Topre, or not Topre? That is the question.
I'm in both the Double shot replacements ROUND FOUR GB and this one.  Both use the order bot.
I submitted my ROUND FOUR order, got this invoice and paid 50% ($61.00). No problem:
Invoice #0583 for megnin
Order-ID        |Description                                 |Price|Qty|Pcs| Total
RETRO/SPACE     |6.25 units Filco/Cherry/Leopold             | 2.00|  1|  1|  2.00
RETRO/SPACE/GREY|6.25 units Filco/Cherry/Leopold             | 2.00|  1|  1|  2.00
RETRO/STDRGBYSYM|Standard RGBY Symbols kit (104 keys)        |88.00|  1|124| 88.00
                |                                            |     |   |   |
Sum             |before fees                                 |     |   |126| 92.00
                |Shipping/Whatever/I need to cover all costs!|     |   |   | 25.99
PAYPAL          |PayPal fees USA                             | 2.9%|   |   |  3.42
Total           |                                            |     |   |126|121.41

Please pay 50% of --> $121.41 <-- within 7 days via PayPal (no gift!):

Then, I order my KBDRUNNNER keys here and get this invoice which, on the same invoice number includes both orders, but does not take into account the amount already paid:

Invoice #0583 for megnin
Order-ID        |Description                                 |Price|Qty|Pcs| Total

Please pay 50% of --> $131.24 <-- within 7 days via PayPal (no gift!):

My question is, should I pay the $5.00 to bring the total paid up to 50% of the new invoice total to satisfy the bot or am I good to go until I get the final invoice for the remaining 54%?

the way I understand it, the bot just hasn't updated all incoming payments, and you don't have to pay exactly 50%now, as long as you pay 100% when it is being finalized

There is not instant update after payment. It takes some time.

Don't pay low amounts now. When prices are final you get another invoice which will show all your payments.
