That is a feature of the GON Nerd 60 that the OP may include in this buy, but you should solder your own SMD LEDs, it is not that hard.

It's available on the PCB, but SMD LEDs will not be an option to buy.

You will need resistors as well, each LED requires one resistor.

In my last build I used the same resistors for both, but GON recommends lower ohms for the SMD, but I can tell they work just fine either way.
